This was quite fantastic... I thought PVP vids would be dead for a little while with the new drives... GG's for Bigbird staying to play and a fantastic performance from both of you, I thought it would be 'over' in less than a minute after interdiction. Battles like this is when ED really shines.
When I first started playing this game, I always heard "Friendship Drive charging" (English is not my first language), and I was like "Aww, that's so nice!"
there is one lifehack, I remember it worked for me - you can intercept even in a FSD supercharge, and when you can use the interceptor, you will instantly stop on the enemy’s tail and will be busy with interception, and not with how to stop.
I use a VKB Gladiator and a VKB Omni Throttle. HOTAS is better than gamepad by a longshot, but keyboard and mouse are perfectly viable. Some of the best pvpers swear by KBM.
Yea seems like it is better toy for the gankers, as nobody doing else want much lower jumprange. But if you afraid of gankers, you can equip one before hand... Or go to solo
It seems like it's primary intended purpose was to quickly navigate to the further thargoid Titans. Hopefully we get some better versions of this FSD at some point.
I put one in a Dolphin and sure, I miss the range, but I can do surface scans of whole systems without the interminable waiting to get from planet to planet. Then I put one in an Eagle for pirate elimination missions in a neighbouring system, did some exobiology on a distant planet as well, and with the scans and exobiology I made enough credits that I don't need any more credits. Anyway, hi from someone who's not a ganker and is having fun with it.
@@CareyEvans It is not about fun. I made a build which can reach 1 million ls. But the vast majority of players and builds won't sacrifice this much range. It think 95%+ of ships you encounter will has normlas FSD. This could be better if it could be engineerable.
a lot of people are missing the point i feel, imo its mostly for combat ships that dont even need jumprange in the first place to drop onto a wingmate faster for all pve/ax/pvp or get to places like the titan
The only modification you should ever put on any power distributor (with rare exceptions) is this, the meta distro: Maximum size, A-rated G5 Charge Enhanced Super Conduits experimental The Throngler is an exception, and requires a rare off-meta experimental, using cluster capacitors instead of super conduits (everything else is the same). The only reason for this is that cluster capacitors provides just barely enough weapons capacitor charge to fire all five plasmas. You would never put cluster capacitors on a build that doesn't need it, because you want to maximize your recharge.

Good job. SCO interdictions are going to take some getting used to.

SCO battle was interesting. Good work o7
I got ganked earlier. Really pissed me off.
