- Hi all!
So I love this movie and I love E.M. However, the first time I was introduced to this song was when I got Metallica's Live Sh*t Binge and Purge box set for Christmas when I was 12. If you've seen/heard Metallica live, this tune should also hit ya in the "concert starting" feels. And yeah yeah yeah I know Metallica did a cover of this too. I just couldnt help it ;)
You rock my casbah

I just can't help but think of Metallica when it comes to this song. \m/
331Erock
Me 2.
331Erock I can't help but think of Tuco running around in the Sad Hill Cemetery trying to find Arch Stanton's grave. \m/
True that, but I was waiting since forever for a "more metal" and emotional version... No wonder it has come from you :D
Well it is the first track on the S&M album.
This is actually a better version than the Metallica one.
When you have to shred, shred! don't talk.
Awesnap underrated comment! +1
Perfect
The duel at the cementery - best movie scene in cinematic history.
Bruningable have you seen Once Upon a Time in the West?
Bruningable Also the final showdown between Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West was epic.
But this song is played while Tuco runs happy through the cemetery searching for the grave. During the duel the song is "Triello"
That was an epicly perfect leadup and execution of a scene.
I prefer the final duel in "For A Few Dollars More". The music pocket watch theme gives me chills.
You just became one of my favorite guitarist of all time and I'm a pretty damn good guitarist myself but anyone who plays the good the bad and the ugly is a friend of mine !!!
Ennio Morricone is a legend. The music in For A Few Dollars More is perfect.
Funky Monkey1886 completely agree.
The work he did on The Thing in 1982 is unforgettable
@@TheBlackKnight1o1Most of his work is unforgettable. He definitely was one of the best composers of all time and it sucks that he’s no longer with us.
See, Tuco, there's two kinds of people in this world: those with electric guitars, and those who dig...
...and you dig
@@globetrotteur8642 I dig it!
Epic comment ...LOL
Those crazy enough to dig with electric guitars
I just can't shake how happy he looks playing any cover
Rest in peace Ennio, God bless you.
“If you’re gonna shoot, shoot, don’t talk.” Love that movie!
That was awesome! Only way it could have been better is if you wore a poncho, hat, and cigar.
Never clicked faster
RIP Ennio
RIP Ennio Morricone
One of best movies and soundtracks out there!
Yeah, Metallica. Exactly. My first thought was about the openning of the show!!
Every gun makes its own tune. Yours has made one hell of a tune! Bravo!
This electric guitar rendition of that "eternal merry go round" of that iconic film gets up to its high pedestal. Shall try to take you far with man.
I remember going to the drive-in to see this movie with my Dad. Man I LOVE how you play this...
R. I. P. Ennio morricone
Bloooondie!!!!
The sound track in this movie is just epic. And with the metal touch this song sounds even better.
And thanks to Eric, I know now what to do the rest of the day. I'm having me an Eastwood evening.
My favourite western ever. Even my ringtone on my phone comes from the film( i use the trio for it at least 15 years ago...)thx for doing it. great work
The music rocks but the fact that you're FEELING this song makes this video. Amazing cover! Thanks!
Ennio would be pleased, well done sir
cromagnonac amazingly, he's still kicking!
I know, but he'll probably never hear this, however, if he did, he'd be pleased. That's what I was trying to say
Watched this movie for the first time last week, it was so damn amazing. This is my favorite piece from the film, great cover.
One of the best scores to anything ever.
I love this theme😱😱😱😱 Great. Dynamic, Energetic!!!! Passional!! Intriguing!!! It makes me feel like being in the film!!!
A fist full of dollars theme and a few dollars more theme
Connor Mills And throw is 60 Seconds to What for an epic crescendo - i absolutely love that piece
The chills evry time I hear this... I actually saw the movie after seeing Metallica live a few times, so watching this scene was magical!
Those are some sick shredding skills. I wish I knew how to play and have so much awesome stuff in my head
It's been a while since I last got such a kick from a song. This is one of my favourite movie songs ever and you did a stellar job with this cover. Awesome.
Haha don't know how many times I've asked you to do this song in the comments of your videos, glad you finally did it! Love you mate, keep rocking
That was jaw-dropping amazing! I loved ennio morricone tracks, and the ecstasy of gold was one of my all time favorite pieces from him with the themes of once upon a time in the revolution, and my name is nobody. You made a great homage out of it.
Great version!
Hey Metfan4l! We've also recorded an incredible version of Ecstasy of gold: ruclips.net/video/rBs6t2negLc/видео.html

Jemmy Chen Hell yeah
The great thing is that this can count as your next Metallica cover too.
Great piece man. This brings me back to my childhood, one of my favorite westerns of all time. Thank you for bringing back memories.
Amazing! One of the best song ever, perfectly metally covered
As always, an incredible cover man! Rock on!
Awesome, such an epic song originally and equally epic adapted to electric guitar!
OH MY GOD! Bravo Eric, you rock again!!!! 🤘🤘❤️
I LOVE IT! The Dollars trilogy is probably one of my favorite if not my all time favorite trilogy of all time. This captures the epicness of it so well. My favorite video you have done in a while Erock. Absolutely fantastic.

The best film ever... Great cover !
Live Sh*t.......memories. Long hair, short hair, no hair, Metallica still rules. Always will.
I absolutely agree with the guy who said,
‘The only way this could have been better is if you wore a poncho, hat and had a cigar’.
Great stuff as always mate, keep the awesome sounds streaming!!!
This is the original version of the music ! released December 5th, 1966 composed by 331erock
Very nice touch with Enter Sandman at the end. Reminds me of the Binge and Purge concert!
This song is badass! You did an amazing cover
Bro, my dad will love this! Thanks!
Next cover, In the hall of the mountain king.
rafay ashraf by Savatage?
Kant Predict
No, by Edvard Grieg. Savatage's song is "Hall of the Mountain King".
rafay ashraf im pretty sure he already did that. I might be wrong, could be from soneone else
I remember this song from the PS1 JRPG Wild Arms (a soundalike version was used for the overworld theme)
One of the best soundtrack covered by one of the best guitar player on RUclips !
OMG i love this song!!! played it with my local windband years ago for a concert, amazing buildup :D
I cant stop listening to this
Bro, Smooth Mcgroove gave you a huge and respectable shout out in his video yesterday! This is a new collab I never knew I needed until now! Both you guys rock.
Was just listening to a synthesizer cover of this song from an old vinyl I found the other day and I open up youtube to see you uploaded your own cover. What a lovely coincidence! Love this song as well
Damn, how did I miss this upload... dayum!
the first concert I ever went to was Metallica, and so Ecstasy of Gold was the first song I ever heard in a concert
The best cover so far! Thanks
O.M.G. - - now that's the shit right there! 😎 Rock on Bro!
-Lone Wolf (Aurora, Colorado)
Once again brilliantly done Sir
So many memories from great Metallica concerts over the years!
Shivers everytime I hear this song, good version mate!!!!
I've been waiting for this one
Going to my first Metallica concert ever this year in late April. Hope I don't go straight to unconsciousness when this theme start playing :D
always having fun never stop cracking smiles while playing dude keep it up
How come I just watched the movie yesterday and now this? Amazing as always! Keep it up :)
Song was so good, it inspired a song on Samurai Jack, which ALSO takes place in burial grounds.
It might seem strange that a song that defined the music to westerns is from Italy, but Ennio Morricone was so good at it, and did some American western soundtracks as well, like Two Mules for Sister Sara. I haven't really listened to Metallica's version, but I do have many variations on the theme.
A hall of fame movie. Nice work on this
Just got a new ringtone... Fantastic...
Please do more of the music from these films! I feel that you could pull it off spectacularly!
Best version I've ever heard
Beautiful.
Next cover, Swordland from SAO. You would bring it to next level epicness.
Thank you for releasing this on my birthday
This is one of the best things I've ever seen or heard in my life.
I absolutely love this!
Amazing, I love it !!!!
Hail from France !!
Once again, you've granted us an epic cover! Whenever anything meets metal, it instantly gets better.
My suggestion would be to do the Ninjago Theme Song next! It would be fascinating to see it meet metal.
Keep up the stellar work!
I love this dude always smiling :-)
Every cover of this music must be epic... \o/
Mamma mia ! Bravo ! Good jobs !
thank you so much - I love this piece of music - you look so much like my fiancee - same dark long hair and facial features - he does not have any tattoos Im watching this film right now one of my favorites I used to watch with my dad
it's amazing just how well different pieces of music transition to metal (sure 1 or 2 might fail, but most seem to work lol).
thanks a lottttttt joe..... waiting for this for a long time ^_^
this was amazing
rewritten childhood.
I think Im going to go watch this movie right now...
