The intangibles people talk about some players have comes from a strong foundation and the personality and will they develop on their own as they grow up. Eli, your facial expressions at times were priceless whether they were watching Peyton playing in a Super Bowl or after an interception or touchdown it was always the same, Lol. I'm a New Orleans guy and a Saints fan till I die but I respect Eli and what he meant to the game. He won two Super Bowls beating the best coach QB tandom ever according to the experts. Who thought the Giants were gonna win those Super Bowls before the game no one!!Eli is a class act and didn't w/ less talent around him. I don’t care what anyone saids, this legend should be in the hall of fame. It would be criminal if he doesn’t make it in. Beating the New England Patriots TWICE in the Super bowl is just incredible. He has all my respect. He never was shit talker or said too much he was a guy who lead by example and that’s a true leader. There’s no doubt about his toughness. How many games did he not miss a start in a row??? Insane! His post season stats are unreal! This guy came day in and day out for The New York Giants organization and worked his ass off. I’m going to miss hanging out with my dad and watching all of the giants games with you always being there and ready to play. I felt like a part of my childhood is gone as you have been my idol growing up. I just want to thank you Eli and you deserve this more than anyone.
That 1st playoff run, 4 road wins, Tampa, 13-3 cowgirls team, -27 (w/the wind chill) in Green Bay in NFC Championship game (maybe just greatest game ever, I don’t care he had no tds go back and watch he was slinging the ball to Burress all game) then beating an 18-0 NE team trailing in the 4th twice, probably the toughest SB run of any QB ever

Eli manning brought this franchise from the ruins don't get me wrong that defense was awesome but to have a dependable quarterback ready to play every game didn't have to worry about replacing until 16 years if I was mara I would have cried a fucken river!!!

I mean, I'm a diehard Eagles fan, but.....how can you not like this guy? I've watched from afar the charitable work he did with pediatric cancer patients specifically (I work with cancer patients), and it doesn't get better than Eli. He's a decent, kind, caring family man, an honorable athlete, and even though I considered him a pain in the ass much of the time as one of our greatest rivals, I have the utmost respect for him. I wish him nothing but success in whatever he does next. Congrats on your legacy, Eli.
