A very good lesson..my little friend wanted to know how many threads you had to use as I had just gotten done showing her how to take them apart..Many do not mention the amount of thread used or the effect different numbers of threads will have on how the stitch will look..but a good teaching video...

I can't believe that this stitch is Just Simple...Thanks for the tutorial😊...Now I know how to Do a Lazy daisy ;-; sadly my thread is thin
I just picked up embroidery yesterday and your videos are helping so much. Very clear and easy to follow. Thank you!!!
Oh my god thanks so much! This has helped do we use a specific type of string/ wool and where from
I always use 6 stranded embroidery floss. Usually DMC or Aurifil.
Wonderful tutorial! Thx so much for the clear, simple instructions. How many strands of embroidery thread to use for the lazy daisy?
This is 6 strands so it's easy to see in the video. You can use that amount or less, depending on the look you want. I usually use 3 or sometimes 2 if it's a really small flower.
School got me like ✋🏽😩😭
So it is basically a well spaced chain stitch.
MODULES BROUGHT ME HERE
watching this made me a better man
best
Does this work best if you're using all 6 threads? I halved mine for practice and my daisies look really skinny and dinky with no 'heavy, fat' end, if that makes sense. Like instead of a teardrop shape it's just a thin petal that's the same width from tip to middle.
It should work with any amount of thread. It sounds like you might be pulling the thread too tight. You want to tack the end down while it still looks like a teardrop shape. You could also try making it shorter. I find that if my petals are too long, they turn out looking weird.
@@CutesyCrafts thank you! I will try that now! Love your vids btw. So quick and to the point. Subbed!
@@swinginbecky Thank you! I hope you get it to work!
Hi! I really love your tutorials! I find them very useful and easy. But I was wondering what is the difference between this stitch and the chain stitch... 👀
Anyways, thank you so much for these videos! ❤❤❤
(sorry if something wasn't clear, English isn't my first language)
I think they're actually the same, you just don't make a line of them?
Chain stitch is just a line made of LD stitches stitched together
Which cloth thin?? Or thick??
Really like the pace this is done at. Far too many tutorial videos go way too fast
It's just like chain stitch
aight i’m starting....:)
holy shit its beutifull
i did ittt
