I started watching detailing vids in isolation of COVID. I'm addicted! My van needs a detail transformation. NOW I KNOW WHAT A GOOD DETAIL JOB IS! Congrats on your progress. Keep pushing man.
I love seeing foam solution on the carpets
Tip: When vacuum the carpets. Use a brush to go along with the vacuum tip. The agitation will lift most of sand/dirt/particles making it a breeze for the vacuum to fulfill its task.
Although it might seem complicated to occupy and coordinate both hands. Once you get the hang of it. One hand on the brush another on the vacuum tip. It makes the job way easier and faster with better final result. Win win situation. ;-)
Probably you don't want to invest on a rented garage, but given the chance. Upgrade the sewage sand retention ASAP. Having good infrastructure will pay back really fast.
You'll be able to work properly once the weather is not so favourable! ;-)

How long does it take you to extract an averagely dirty seat? I extracted my drivers seat this morning and it took an hour, so I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.
Lol! I’m sure you’re doing fine. It takes about 15 minutes
If doing it the first time it will always take a lot longer! When it becomes a "maintenance" routine it's rather fast.
Something to consider when doing proper maintenance or detailing. The initial investment it's always the most difficult. ;-)

Cars are designed to withstand water and rain. It’s totally safe especially if you unplug the battery like I did in this video

When extracting hé sucks the water out of the seat/carpet. Leaving it damp. On hot days just crack the Windows and park in the sun for fastest drying
It causes engine blow because water is flowing in the air intake.
