It would be much better to repaint the entire car as the paint will eventually go to shit due to the red color and it’s single stage Sure it will cost money but who the hell wants to continue waxing it cause that’s what your going to have to do and eventually you will wax to the primer
Hey Sandro, if you remember, I was the guy who got in touch with you here and on Instagram about my silver Mercedes I detailed purely using the knowledge I learned from you. At the time I shared the idea with you about making a "subscribers' details special" but then I disappeared as my life unfortunately suddenly took a significant turn for the worse. After these years I now returned to your channel and I just wanted to express my gratitude towards you for all I've learned from you and the joy it brought me even during these trying times through the beauty of that car I got to enjoy. It is so great to see that the quality of your work is still the exact same as it used to be. What you do is not detailing, it is absolute masterwork on the highest level, beyond anything I've ever seen either in real life or on RUclips. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and maintaining the quality of your work, it is truly amazing.
I do remember and I do hope things are looking up a little more fur you mate. It’s super nice to hear that that my friend and greatly appreciated. I hope detailing continues to be a rewarding part of your life and wish you well mate.
I have the exact car which I am doing the same full detailing, just a darker shade of red. I am part way through, using 3M and Mitchell and King (Scotland) products (PURE, TITAN and LILY). Haven't decided on which sealant yet.
So, by youtube's recommendation....this is the first vid Ive discovered from your channel. Boys....the way you guys have put this all together is amazing! From the filming to the editing, the names of products as you use them, showing clear detail of what you're doing whilst explaining it clearly at a pace that people can keep up with.....this is hands down one of the best detailing videos I've seen so far. From Pan the organiser to Whites details, to AMMO, you guys are my new favourite! And the fact that you're local makes it that much better lol. Thank you so much for the effort you put into not only that car, but also this video. My hats off to you guys, well done! will be sharing this vid around for sure! Looking forward to the next one! Thanks guys!
Every Tom , Dick & Harry calls themselves a car detailer nowadays and you only discover their true ability when it is waaaaay too late .This guy clearly knows & understands the nuances of his trade . And surrounds himself with the right kind of people . This was a pleasure to watch , thank you .
Hey Sandro! I attended one of your paint correction classes a few weeks ago. I’ve had a few correction jobs since and some of the things I picked up from you have made a noticeable improvement in my work. Thank you! Keen to get stuck into this video once I get some time.
The TLC you gave this car just gave it back years of its remaining life. If you're not doing a full rebuild this process is 100% necessary to preserve the factory paint.
You're not only producing beatiful, high production videos but you are by far the best teacher and the best among the detailing channels. Thank you for the videos.
Sandro, Forgive my gushing… As a kid some 30 years ago, I used to tell myself that I wish we could choose exactly what we could watch on TV. Snap to now, and we’re spoiled with the ability to do-so on a portable device. It’s crazy. Here’s why I share that: As I watch this video of yours, it is so damn good that it feels like a movie I deserved to see as a child. The camerawork, the thought behind the sequence and placement of what you’re being shown, and the quality of narration all make you feel not like you’re there, but like you’re the one doing the work in your own dream. It’s just great. I would argue that you don’t want to put content out every week for the same reason you take so long on a car you’re restoring- it’s quality over quantity. Embrace that approach with your channel. I don’t care what anyone says. You’re still the best detailer on RUclips by quite a large distance. Thanks for all of your hard work; it certainly motivates me to follow suit. I’ll send you pics of some of my own recent projects soon. Take care!
Thanks Justin, so nice to hear this video and project hit home home in a way that was really enjoyable to watch. I also enjoyed trying to tackle it in a slightly different way and that progression and exploration is an ongoing growth. Look forward to the pics, thanks mate!
Unreal transformation. Single stage paint can really come back to life, I had a 1990 Saab in this color, single stage, and loved polishing it. I'm surprised you didn't ceramic coat this, as it would provide longer and more durable oxidation protection.
I LOVE red cars, i bought a peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 from under a tree in my neighbours back garden £500 .Ive just washed its and sold it and sold it for £4000 .to a garage that wants it for a track day car .
Utterly amazing. You guys brought that car back to life. The attention to detail is FLAWLESS!!. I would love to have my Mercedes detailed by you guys. 🔥🔥🔥
I have watched this many times. Such a great color and amazing transformation. To be able to make this happen is one thing but the quality of the video is another talent as well. I have learned so many things watching this channel over the years that have helped build my own skill and improved my results. The music and commentary are also enjoyable. I have played many a clips to my adult children particularly when Sandro talks about some life lessons with compromises and expectations in life. A solid example and excellent human, much respect.
Fantastic outcome, that must be some great quality paint to hold up like that. I think you did right by this car with the best balance of correction and defect removal versus paint preservation 👍
What a process! Man, this is awesome to see, but a ton of work indeed. You used may have used just about every tool in your arsenal to get the work done. Thank you so much for sharing. I haven't polished my car yet, but I appreciate all of this and the work that goes onto it. 😊
About 8 years ago, before I was diagnosed with leukemia, I was one of the best detailers on the Mississippi gulf coast. We have “Cruising the Coast” here, a huge celebration of vintage cars. I saw a car like this, an 80s BMW 325 in the same condition. I told the owner I’d do it for free, just to use the before and after pictures. He allowed me. The results were amazing with the single stage paint. I finished it off with Colinite, then Liquid Glass, it looked amazing. Wish I still had photos. Got me many jobs though.
Wow, I thought I’ve seen other pro detailers work their magic, but this is next level. I think this is the first time I’ve seen the windshield sprayers get polished 🤯👍👍
Insane work, thank you so much for sharing. It’s a lot of work filming in itself and many don’t realize how much actually goes into documenting and editing alone, imagine trying to stay focused on the task at hand and catching the right moments. The bmw I can’t believe it.. never thought it could be possible but you nailed it and brought back value to this car 🚗. Bravo 👏🏾
Absolutely loved watching this, I can’t believe how good you guys got it to look. Beautiful I don’t know about other people but I much prefer an older car that has been lovingly taken care of than something new
Absolutely LOVE a single stage correction the satisfaction is incredible I’ve done 2 red cars now and I recently did my new work vehicle ( 2018 Toyota hilux sr5 in white ). Once again a very in depth, captivating, insightful video as always Sandro. This is exactly why you are the godfather of the detailing world. What you do is a pure art form. Well done mate ❤ keep it up.
@carcraftautodetailing - I had an identical E30 in 1997-1999 - Red 316, your process makes me question why I repainted my dull red, I guess Rupes was not invented back then :) This video makes we want an E30 again.... Really enjoyed this - Thank you!
I also have a vehicle with one step red paint (fiat punto), these paints age badly, but are so easy to polish off!. Before I was doing a light correction and a sealer. But 1 year later (about) the paint became dull and oxidized again, I have since applied a ceramic coating, and for 3 years the paint is still beautiful, even if the hydrophobic effect is no longer at the top, the gloss stay ! . Great job my friend 👌
In a world when NYC Ammo already exist and make perfect videos, I thought I had enough with detailing channel but then there's your channel hahaha Thanks for the content ! Well done :)
Imagine being the owner dropping off an old 80’s classic with beat up faded original paint and plastics and then picking it up to see it looking better than the day it rolled off the production line. It’s incredible what Sandro and his team can do.
Great detail on a cracking classic. I love bringing classics back to their former glory. I remember once detailing a Ferrari 250SWB which had been in a museum in Switzerland for 20 years and was in almost as bad condition. I spent almost two weeks on it and brought it back to almost as new condition. Still my most satisfying detail to this day.
Wow. That car looks good enough to eat! Fantastic work! As said below. Old, faded single - stage Red nearly always makes for a dramatic Cinderella-like transformation. Absolutely beautiful. Great Channel - Great Content!
Love the restoration of the older cars, especially those cars that in the UK would have rusted and scraped but the occasional car is found as it had been in a garage etc 😊
OMG !!!!! 😮 I’m an amateur detailer ( on my own cars ) And I get comments on my work BUT that is next level I watch all the detailing channels of worth and this is by far and away the best transformation I have ever seen this side of Larry and his BS 😂. Well done and thank you for the inspiration. Off to buy a turd now and make diamond out of it 😂 ❤❤
This is exactly what I needed. I found a neglected E30 convertible in the neighborhood and the owner wants it detailed. As a beginner detailer I wanted to know what to look out for when restoring it's paint. I made him a very cheap offer so its goof for both of us I get to practice and potentially a very happy first client and good review. And he gets a pretty car XD
That’s great, I’m sure you’ll do a fantastic job. Take your time to inspect the paint and trims, look for any damage that you need to tread lightly around, ideally measure and adjust to that and also don’t try and go for perfection - especially if you’re newer to detailing - just look for a great improvement.
Just beautiful, Sandro! I love your videos, and I've learned so much from you. I'm just an enthusiast not a pro, but I want to do the best work I can for my friends/family when I do their vehicles. If I can ever achieve even half of the level you reach, I'll be thrilled. You're the best!
Loved it! This video was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed seeing you using some of your staple products and tools together with some new ones. It was also great meeting the other members of the team. Good job guys. Cheers.
Wow! Like and always.. Just woooooooooooooooooow!!! My friend had E30 coupe, also red, with S50B32 M3 E36 engine swap, intentions to fully respray, mount M-Tech 1 bodykit, OEM BBS RS rims and just have childhood dream car, but sadly - sold it about year or two ago after 10 or more years of owning, because of life changes, thoughts about family, house building, etc.. That was early E30 with narrow tailights, but this one reminds him E30 a lot and I enjoying to watch such a deep and detailed transformation, thank you! One of the best and most detailed of all your works that I saw on this channel!!! 🤌🤌🤌 Keep it up! 🙌
I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and I can relate a lot with your friend in selling a cherished car - life sometimes has other plans we need to adapt to - but it’s great to hear the video bright back some found memories.
Undeniably one of your best works yet. Red cars suffer from neglect just as obviously as black cars, and the 50/50 here is absolutely insane. Hard to believe you didn’t just repaint it. You gave way more value than that owner paid for🤘🤘🤘 so glad you have employees now, at least I think you do?
Amazing. I have done my own paint correction on three old cars my kids drive, and it has always been amazingly satisfying... even for my kids as I made them help LOL Thaks for the great tips and products.
Can't believe I'm gonna say this, but the end of this video brought tears to my eyes. Stunning revival Sandro and team! As a side note, those NV hoodies are sick! I have been dying for some NV merch in the states. Just something as simple as a hat would be awesome, but they aren't available =(
I owned a 91 325 convertible Red /Black top, spoilers dark tent,17 inch Black wheels,I always had it shining 15 yrs then I sold it,lots of great memories I detail for Auto Baum FT Worth TX BMW,those wheels are very hard to clean back then after brake dust build up!!
Absolutely fantastic video here brother. 👏 that red was brought back to life and then some. Always enjoy your knowledge throughout your videos as well. Hope everything is good your way my friend. Take care!
I recall, having those type of BBS alloys on a Mk 2 Golf. They looked great, but keeping them clean took twice as long as cleaning the rest of the car. No power washers at home back then though. Nice refurbishment all round.
I did a Suzuki Sx4 that had a very similar single stage red paint, I was afraid of how much red paint I was removing lol. As a beginner, seeing you polish the wiper blade arms blew my mind!
Nothing is more satisfying than bringing a single stage paint back to life. Excellent work, Sandro!
Thank you mate
Nice job sandro a very rewarding outcome jobs like these are good for the mind in this age of mental health awareness good job !!
But red is every time a wonder 😂
It would be much better to repaint the entire car as the paint will eventually go to shit due to the red color and it’s single stage Sure it will cost money but who the hell wants to continue waxing it cause that’s what your going to have to do and eventually you will wax to the primer

It’s super nice to hear that that my friend and greatly appreciated. I hope detailing continues to be a rewarding part of your life and wish you well mate.
P
How a BMW should look like! Your videos always inspire me to detail my own car!
Buy a couple car pro products and do it! Better results for less money than some lame “hand wash” center.
I have the exact car which I am doing the same full detailing, just a darker shade of red. I am part way through, using 3M and Mitchell and King (Scotland) products (PURE, TITAN and LILY). Haven't decided on which sealant yet.
Absolutely stunning work chaps, who doesn’t love an E30?!
Nothing’s more satisfying than admiring an E30
Noch befriedigender ist es einen zu besitzen 😂
As the previous owner of a BMW 325e in the late '80s, I approve this detail and restoration!! Looks amazing and makes me want my old BMW back.
So, by youtube's recommendation....this is the first vid Ive discovered from your channel. Boys....the way you guys have put this all together is amazing! Boy are you in for a treat, Sandro is a detailing savant.
Every Tom , Dick & Harry calls themselves a car detailer nowadays and you only discover their true ability when it is waaaaay too late .This guy clearly knows & understands the nuances of his trade . And surrounds himself with the right kind of people .
This was a pleasure to watch , thank you .

Thanks Darcy it’s awesome to hear the correction classes was helpful and I hope you enjoy the video mate!
What a perfect piece of work - from BMW and even more from you!!!!
Had an E30 and loved it...
Superb result, love seeing the older style single stage red paint coming back to life.
Hi to every Old BMW guy! 💪
The TLC you gave this car just gave it back years of its remaining life. If you're not doing a full rebuild this process is 100% necessary to preserve the factory paint.
This was by far one of the best paint corrections I've seen! Outstanding job!!!!
Awesome results, more of these classic restorations on the channel 👍
You're not only producing beatiful, high production videos but you are by far the best teacher and the best among the detailing channels.
Thank you for the videos.
Still think Sandro deserves more subs and views. There aren’t many detailing channels that taught me more
You slayed this BMW. The owner should have been thrilled!
What a beautiful transformation of this car. The owner must have been overjoyed with the results by you and your team.
Sandro,
Forgive my gushing…

Unbelievable!!!! I reckon majority of people felt that the only solution was a respray ... phenomenal work!
Several washes and it will look exactly as it did when it arrived
Thank you for uploading these amazing videos Sandro. As a detailer myself I have learnt more from you than anyone else.
My absolute pleasure mate and it’s really nice to hear that.
Як завжди чудова робота.🤝 Приємно спостерігати, як працює професіонал.
Unreal transformation. Single stage paint can really come back to life, I had a 1990 Saab in this color, single stage, and loved polishing it. I'm surprised you didn't ceramic coat this, as it would provide longer and more durable oxidation protection.
Single stage paint comes back to life the best
Sandro. I’m forever thankful for your time and education. You changed my life bud. Thanks 🙏🏼 AloHa

Stunning results of one of my top three favorite cars.
Good morning Sir,
Good to see your doing so well and now you have a team which is amazing.
Love from Scotland 🏴
Fantastic outcome, that must be some great quality paint to hold up like that. I think you did right by this car with the best balance of correction and defect removal versus paint preservation 👍
Thanks and the amount of paint and build quality back then from manufacturers like BMW was pretty amazing stuff.
Ya man, "took what you could, left what you should!"
Beautiful work as always. I always tell people the sun hates red paint.
Thanks and you are spot on - the pigments found in red paint are certainly the most susceptible to UV damage.
What a process! Man, this is awesome to see, but a ton of work indeed. You used may have used just about every tool in your arsenal to get the work done. Thank you so much for sharing. I haven't polished my car yet, but I appreciate all of this and the work that goes onto it. 😊
this is not detailing... this is passion
The most beautiful BM in history... loved it... congrats. Long life to the E30
About 8 years ago, before I was diagnosed with leukemia, I was one of the best detailers on the Mississippi gulf coast. We have “Cruising the Coast” here, a huge celebration of vintage cars.

Got me many jobs though.
This is the best detailing video ever on RUclips. Master class 🎉
What a difference at the end! Brilliant job man! The choice of music is always a top notch!
Wow, I thought I’ve seen other pro detailers work their magic, but this is next level. I think this is the first time I’ve seen the windshield sprayers get polished 🤯👍👍

Omg, I just realised it’s you Sandro detailing one of my favourite car, man I’m so happy to see you detail this
Thanks and really hope you enjoyed it mate!

Once again a very in depth, captivating, insightful video as always Sandro. This is exactly why you are the godfather of the detailing world. What you do is a pure art form. Well done mate ❤ keep it up.
Appreciate it mate
Well done Sandro you and the team have turned this beautiful car around
@carcraftautodetailing - I had an identical E30 in 1997-1999 - Red 316, your process makes me question why I repainted my dull red, I guess Rupes was not invented back then :)
This video makes we want an E30 again....

Sunday therapy sessions are back in play. Great work. Again.
Hands down, the best detailer on youtube, end to end
In a world when NYC Ammo already exist and make perfect videos, I thought I had enough with detailing channel but then there's your channel hahaha
Thanks for the content ! Well done :)
Gr8 recognition for a friend you can see he wants the car & is put back into use👏
Imagine being the owner dropping off an old 80’s classic with beat up faded original paint and plastics and then picking it up to see it looking better than the day it rolled off the production line. It’s incredible what Sandro and his team can do.

I’m a Porsche/Audi guy in general but man….I love these e30s! Great cars and fun drivers. Thanks for the video!
You are an incredible detailer man, I need to acquire such patience and skill.
What an absolutely stellar transformation! Just amazing!
What's wrong with me? This detail video brought tears to eyes. Awesome job!!! Really cool filming and editing too!
OMG !!!!! 😮 I’m an amateur detailer ( on my own cars ) And I get comments on my work BUT that is next level I watch all the detailing channels of worth and this is by far and away the best transformation I have ever seen this side of Larry and his BS 😂. Well done and thank you for the inspiration. Off to buy a turd now and make diamond out of it 😂 ❤❤
I like this before even the ads were gone! 😂 excited!
Appreciate that and I hope it lived up to the anticipation!
I had an identical 325es near me. I detailed it similarly for the owner just to say I did. It came out quite nice.
Watching in Korea. If I had lived in that country, I would have run right away. quality is so good
One of my favourite creators and most of all intelligent and articulated guys in this space.
You set the bar. Cheers for the latest video pal.
Thanks Jonny, appreciate it mate!
Such an insane transformation!! Sandro yet again setting the benchmark for RUclips detailing content 🔥
Just beautiful, Sandro! I love your videos, and I've learned so much from you. I'm just an enthusiast not a pro, but I want to do the best work I can for my friends/family when I do their vehicles. If I can ever achieve even half of the level you reach, I'll be thrilled. You're the best!
What a transformation from dull dry ugly old paint to bright clean and shiny! I like red!
I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and I can relate a lot with your friend in selling a cherished car - life sometimes has other plans we need to adapt to - but it’s great to hear the video bright back some found memories.
Superb job Sandro gleaming paint no rock chips thankfully most you find in uk are chipped or badly scarred
INSANE transformation. Hell of a job!
Amazing. I have done my own paint correction on three old cars my kids drive, and it has always been amazingly satisfying... even for my kids as I made them help LOL Thaks for the great tips and products.
Beautiful job! Bravo. I remember when these cars came out in California. They were a hit from the get go. Great to see one spruced up..
a perfect result.......but base was not so bad as it looks for the first sight.....absolut great job...... I love it.....
This is AMMONYC level of work. I enjoyed every single second of the video. Great Job!
My favorite series by far. Simple , exquisite handling and can be tuned to the max. On top of that you made it look new. 👌
AWESOME!!! I had a E28 525i same red, that's the car got me into detailing. THANKS for sharing!
My pleasure mate and thanks
Can't believe I'm gonna say this, but the end of this video brought tears to my eyes. Stunning revival Sandro and team! As a side note, those NV hoodies are sick! I have been dying for some NV merch in the states. Just something as simple as a hat would be awesome, but they aren't available =(
It’s super nice to hear that as so much work and effort went into this job - thank you and hopefully some of the Nv merch will hit the US soon.
Really a beautiful video. I had two E30s, an '85 325es in Bronzit and an '87 325is in Cinnabar Rot. Watching this brings the memories back. Well done.
Take care!
Sick...beyond sick. Great job Team CCAD!
I recall, having those type of BBS alloys on a Mk 2 Golf. They looked great, but keeping them clean took twice as long as cleaning the rest of the car. No power washers at home back then though. Nice refurbishment all round.
Very informative and beautiful results ! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos !
I did a Suzuki Sx4 that had a very similar single stage red paint, I was afraid of how much red paint I was removing lol. As a beginner, seeing you polish the wiper blade arms blew my mind!
