@@eliking4184 He meant that you can have better spawn rates by expanding the platform until no golems are able to spawn on the border anymore (because the border is too far from the area in which the iron golems are able to spawn). So expand the platform by a few blocks everytime that you see that an iron golem has spawned on the border, and do that until no more are spawning. I hope that I helped 😊
1st one works just fine. Light up any cave near the farm, and make sure all 20 villagers gets a job to spawn iron golems efficiently. I placed buttons/slabs on blocks I don't want them to spawn on. And I just randomly tamed 5 cats, I guess that stopped the cats from spawning.
I have it with 30 villagers, 30 beds, and 30 workstations and it works perfectly, I would recommend just starting off with thirty, because I don’t think it works that well otherwise

It might be because ur golems have spawned underground or underwater if u built it in ocean and u need 20 working villagers no nimwits and this farms does not work at night time I have built in my mobile and it works fine

It's because fletchers are some of the few villagers who work during rains and thunderstorms You can use any. Librarians are good but they don't work during rain so iron golems won't spawn

There are villagers around, and with the amount there, and the amount of workstations and beds it gets classified as a village so the game automatically spawns them if that requirement is met
You must tame them so that they stay sitting and no more spawn, otherwise they may get annoying, and either way it isn’t that hard to get a bunch of fish from 5 mins of fishing, and they spawn as you build the farm so you don’t need to worry about finding them in your worls
I don’t think it works, because there are too many other beds/villagers/workstations, and the iron golems can spawn elsewhere. I would suggest keeping it a few hundred blocks away just in case
@ ok thst sucks, hopefully you don’t care too much about the village, and if so you could just destroy all the beds workshops and villagers, or you will unfortunately have to destroy it and rebuild it
Make sure that you make these farms at least 100 blocks away from any villages, iron golems won’t spawn if you ignore this.

It might help to throw some open trap doors around the Nether pit. They'll probably walk in willingly thinking it's solid ground.
If you want it even faster, make the platform bigger. You're not utilising all the potential spawn spots, which is why you had to slab it

If it's 4 chunks then you need to be anywhere within 40 blocks range of the farm
