That asvab test was pretty easy though. I got a 50/50 on the practice from the Marines office and a 95/100 on the actual test. Not trying to stroke my own ego, but I never thought it was rocket science.
I scored an 82 but needed to many waivers since I was arrested for D.U.I at 19 an I was also charged with disorderly conduct an resisting arrest. The recruiter was so happy about my score but then my background check comes back an the recruiter quits calling me when he was calling me multiple times daily. I waited about a week and still no call so I call his office and he tells me the disorderly conduct an resisting arrest are looked at worse then the D.U.I , something about it shows lack of impulse control and each charge needed a waiver with 2 waivers being the max unless you have a unique situation. So I wasted my whole summer trying to get into any branch or the reserves but no luck so I guess it wasn't meant to be. Sux because I'm the only male in my family that didn't serve.
It’s a fucking high school equivalency test Goggins. Jesus. 🤣🤣🤣 It adds electronics, auto, and shop information as well as a mechanical comprehension section.

Asvab is some intelligence questions, problem solving and some experience questions. I took the test twice once as a junior when you normally do and in my senior year when I wanted to skip a trig test I messed around and got a 82
I want join my self how did you end up passing
First time I ever took the asvab I scored a 42, i needed a 65 because I don’t have a highschool education, been studying gonna take my asvab in a few months, I’m the same as goggins I want to do Pararescue.
Took it the first time, got a 9 no study in HS. The second time, age 31, got a 30, did not study, third time studied for 3 days got a 50, once more would like to get a 90.
Need a job to transfer over to civilian.
That kinda makes me feel good about myself lol I scored an 85
99 denied from nuclear engineer mos due to being color blind.
rip the subtitles
got 99, and wanted to go airforce. AF recruiter couldn't get me MQ-9 sensor operator, so I went army for my guaranteed slot as a MQ-1 Operator.
Damn I thought it was a joke test to get you in the military I got a 92
This explains so much 🤣
I got 23😂
I got a 53 my junior year my first time ever seeing the test and I did it for the credits not to take it
I got an 88, but got discharged for having contraband.
I got an 81 as a junior in highschool
I want to be a ranger
Got an 80 and Goggins is 1 million times more successful than me. So take this as your sign that intelligence has little to do with success.
I got a 23 then .... that was it
Same😢
got a 75 first time only studied a little
That asvab test was pretty easy though. I got a 50/50 on the practice from the Marines office and a 95/100 on the actual test.
Not trying to stroke my own ego, but I never thought it was rocket science.
This actually explains alot about David goggins content... 20 on the asvab, mouth breather
I got a 66 on my first without studying my next test i got a 73 without studying again
Infantry it is🤣
to low for infantry the minimum score is 31
So which branch test is easier?
I got a 93. Satcom 25S.
Bro I got a fucking 10 today on the practice asvab
I got a 1 lol
Bro I had got a 7
Damn I got a 11. I hate Algebra.
I just got a 78. Anyone have any recommendations what they think I should look at?
It’s a fucking high school equivalency test Goggins. Jesus. 🤣🤣🤣 It adds electronics, auto, and shop information as well as a mechanical comprehension section.
I got a 78 of the asvab
I would say 20 is crazy but you're David Goggins
imagine goggins on leg day
I'm taking the Test too ...🎉😂..
Failed it today got a 7% pretty good
My dumbass is stupid asf
It’s a mental thing I took it once got a 33 the bare minimum for infantry so I said nah I retook it got a 92 and still let my recruiter talk me into the 11 bang bangs but I’m glad he did, WHYS THE SKY BLUE???
god loves infantry
So then what do I need for a SEAL?
i got an 89 but never did anything with it
Asvab is some intelligence questions, problem solving and some experience questions. Like there are construction related questions no one would know unless they had done it and electrical questions most people wouldn't know unless they had experience. If you are smart you will get a good score but you won't get 90s unless you're well rounded and smart.
I wanna be Army cannon crewmember or infantry
Dang dude I got a 78
