You got any tips,what did you use to study?
@@Annunakibih mostly grammar heroes practice test. Taking them over and over again with no help/calculator and then making note of the questions that I struggled with. After taking the tests I would watch the solutions that he posted on RUclips and then if I still wasn’t confident I would ask chat gpt for more questions just like that and keep doing them until I felt comfortable with doing them. Repetition is really key for mastering anything especially for a test. Also, Duran learning on YT offers free classes on Mondays I sat in for about 4 of those.

I have that asvab book too. I also downloaded the asvab app on my phone too so that before work I can study. I get to work an hour earlier to study in my car.

Thank you so much. I’ve been watching so much videos on the asvab. And grammar hero. That’s funny because I live in the middle of Jacksonville and Augustine. I went to the navy recruiters office and got a 6 on the practice test he gave me on August 31st of 2024. And I have been studying nonstop. I even have the asvab book for dummies as well. I am improving alot better and doing well. Going back to the recruiters office end of October.

@@allofkaylait was!! i didn’t know that the aerospace job was a nurse so that really helped me. i made a G49 though but my picat expired anyway so hopefully i’ll be higher when i go to MEPS

I just took a practice test online i scored 37 I was bad at math and the electrical part I think I scored 55% on arrhythmic reasoning since I don’t have a high school diploma I’ll have to score a minimum of 50 to join any branch

I scored a 88 years ago but now I want to be an officer so I need to score 110 ugh that's a huge jump. I hope that book helps me lol

Girl!! Really glad I came across your video cause I struggled finding a good study 📚 guide I originally bought the asvab for dummies, when I went to the recruiter office I was told to use the Kaplan but hearing that you scored a 93 by using asvab for dummies I’m just confused on what to use 😅🤷♀️

ugh im using the asvab book for dummies but wth LOL math/algebra/geometry was my strongest subject now its all jibber! im 8 years out of high school & did algebra 1&2 in college in 2016 😭😭

Hey, after tech school did you get to pick where your base would be or did they ship you far away from your hometown?
They choose unless you get a choice of duty station in your contract or have a certain job or something

Thanks for good infor! How was your job selection? Did your recruitor force you put some jibs on your list? Or open something? How was your security clearance? Better be honest for everything?
You’re welcome. I made a job list with jobs I wanted (explained my job list process in the video) and I was honest bc I ain’t have nun to lie about 😂🤷🏾♀️ to each it’s own w/ that.

I have a question do you only take the verification test for PiCAT? Or do you have to take it in general? For example if you do the Asvab on paper do you still have to take the verification test?
I believe it’s only for the PICAT.
@@allofkayla oh ok thank you so much and I have another question. Is it true that there is a new test for the pt test. I heard u can chose to do regular push ups or hand release push ups. Sit-ups or reverse crunches and run 1.5 miles or do something else. Is it true?

Same here actually will be my 4th time taking this test, math is my struggle 😭 but watch grammar hero here on RUclips it’s good for English but honestly math it’s so difficult
treat it like an ACT or SAT test, they only count the amount u get right, so first answer all the questions you know, idk if they let u come come to questions like the ACT but focus on what u know to get your score higher and if ur able to go back on questions them thats where u do process of elimination, guessing, and taking more time to figure it out.❤️
I got a 63 on the picat and when I took the verification test and Meps was lower so I didn’t pass it but I’m going back soon( also went to Jax Meps)!!

More time to do what I wanna do being AD really limits the things you’re able to do
hell nah, active all the way...get the stability and no bills. as a reservist as a new airman you only get like under $200 for that weekend and you're back to a civilian. still gotta struggle in the real world - hell nah

What was studying like once you were in BMT, so far I haven’t seen anything in relation to what has been said after you in bootcamp(or it’s just glossed over). I’m trying to figure out what to pack regarding study materials.😅😅

i can’t decide between air guard or active duty.
I remember when I took my ASVAB in late 1975 in High School (before any ASVAB for Dummie books, etc. were in existence)- received a 98. Easy test. AFSC- I chose (Disbursement Accounting Specialist- Military Pay- Then years later when I joined US Civil Service (they gave me a score of 98+5= 103 pts- kept saying- wow).
With Practice Tests- I don't see how you can't pass.
You dont know how because you can't see how someone much less fortunate was able to focus on their school work.
