Hi this is really helpful I took the practice ASVAB in my army recruiters office last week and made a 67 but I was really bummed out because when I took my first practice ASVAB I took it with the Airforce and made a 75 but when I was trying to enlist in the army all of my records transferred over except my asvab score so this really made me feel a lot better that I will still do decent
I'm a little confused when people say that 70 qualifies everyone for all army jobs. I earned a 75 on the AVSAB, yet I'm one point less of qualifying for the biomedical technician job I wanted, and since I got 99 in mechanical comprehension, that disqualifies me from a lot of maintenance jobs. The practice test was actually far easier than the AVSAB, I got a 78 on it. I took it March 2018 by the way.
Everyone should be fine I got a 74 on practice which is said to be harder then I went in 2 days later to take the Asvab and I was sick that day on top of my mom forgettung her ID which she needed to get my Birth Certificate and Death Certificate which was a major setback but we eventually made it there and I took it and got a 71. No good matter whats your circumstances I know you guys can do it. Good luck to you all.
There are a few factors in how to pass the military test. One resource I discovered which successfully combines these is the Wilfs Exam Blueprint (google it if you're interested) it's the no.1 guide i've seen. look at the unbelievable information .
I scored a 96 on mine. I have a stem degree so mine wasn’t as difficult. But one thing I’d say is revisit algebra. Make sure you understand how numbers work. For English, read between the lines and understand word roots and how to differentiate between positive and negative words
I got a 60 and barely know any algebra at all I think i probably excelled in the English comprehension ones because I know many roots with negative connotations and positive connotations and ofc the the meaning of those roots are ingrained in my head.
I got a 85 its not that hard yall trippin. If you just graduated from high school or u still in. Theres no way you should get below 70 cuz the information is still fresh in your mind. If you 30 years old then getting a low score is understandable

Sheena Burns Personally, I thought it was really easy! If you search up “practice asvab tests” online, most of the tests provided are very similar to the real thing. The only thing I found difficult were all the mechanics and auto stuff, but again if you look at some of the practice tests, they’ll give you a general idea of things you should learn/brush up on. The score mainly depends on how you do in math/science/word knowledge etc so try to focus mainly on those sections. Good luck if you plan on taking it soon!!

Hello, I was looking on the go army website and I was looking at army ranger requirements and it says that you need a general technical score of 105 or higher to join, so basicly what I'm asking how do you achieve that score if 70s and 80s seems to be the highest. (From first glance at videos and comments) thanks.
2400 Chris_ goes up to a 99, it’s based off of a percentage. If you score an 80, you outscored 80% of people. A 99 would put you in the top 1%! I scored a 94 AFQT, 130GT

I made a 90 on the asvab with a 64 in mech comp 😂. I made a 52 in auto and shop and a 99 in electronics. (I was 16 y/o, sophomore year.)
My gt score was high so that’s why. I had a gt score of 111
Just study math and arithmetic... all you need. I bs’ed all other parts and got a GT score of 117 and my Asvab score was a 73.

Sheena Burns Personally, I thought it was really easy! If you search up “practice asvab tests” online, most of the tests provided are very similar to the real thing. The only thing I found difficult were all the mechanics and auto stuff, but again if you look at some of the practice tests, they’ll give you a general idea of things you should learn/brush up on. The score mainly depends on how you do in math/science/word knowledge etc so try to focus mainly on those sections. Good luck if you plan on taking it soon!!

Candis Nicole heck no it’s was like 15-30 questions I can’t remember but the questions were the same as the Picat. I’m guessing it’s to make sure you knew what you were doing on the test

Hello, I was looking on the go army website and I was looking at army ranger requirements and it says that you need a general technical score of 105 or higher to join, so basicly what I'm asking how do you achieve that score if 70s and 80s seems to be the highest. 2400 Chris_ goes up to a 99, it’s based off of a percentage. If you score an 80, you outscored 80% of people. A 99 would put you in the top 1%! I scored a 94 AFQT, 130GT
