For how long did you study? About three months? Was 1 hour enough, or did you need more?

Get enough sleep for a couple nights before test. Wake early, shower, light breakfast (no heavy meal before test), practice breathing deeply and relaxing, clear your mind of other stuff. Take a deep breath. Move quickly through the test section, answering all the ones you definitely know first. Then go back and work on the next harder ones. Save the very hard ones for last and then best guess for the ones you have no idea about. Answer every one. That's your best odds for best score on ASVAB. I got 103 raw score, but I paid attention in school too, so there's that. If you don't have a very broad base of knowledge, you won't score high, but that doesn't measure you accurately. Lots of the best and brightest can't test for shit, but they're freaking amazing in other areas. Do your best. No regrets. Peace.

True! Everyone around me tells me that I'm super smart, but when it comes to testing, I just never excel. I hate when people's intelligences are measured in test scores of subjects that have never been relevant in their lives.

I was totally shocked when the took the test in 1964 (ASVAB? ) and I was sent to Medical Specialist school in Greenville Ms. I became a ward corpsman, then transferred to Kadena AFB Dispensary I did very well wherever I was stationed. It surprising that I did so well because I had such low grades in high school. After the Air Force I used the GI bill to go to college. I credit the Air Force for the change in mindset.

@@theglobgod3632 studied very little cause at the time I was finishing up college. It isn’t too difficult to the point where you should stress over it.
My advice is to look up the jobs you’re interested in and study to make or exceed the scores needed for that job.
I swore in this morning and will be going into the AF Reserves as an E-3 and be promoted to an E-4 after tech school. The job I ended up with is 2A954, Heavy Aircraft Integrated Avionics Journeyman, in the 803 Maintenance Squadron.

Tyla Wavy the minimum score is a 31, but with that being said. Most recruiters are going to ask you to score a 50 on the ASVAB or a practice test. The reason being is that with a score below 50 it is hard to get you a job. So what I tell people is if they score less than a 50 there is no job negotiation, you will/must take anything the Air Force wants/needs you to do. I hope I explained that enough and I hope you are understanding about this. :)

My version of the ASVAB was almost entirely ratios. Know how to devide and multiply on paper. Know cubed and squared numbers it’ll help with long division. I know it’s been years since you’ve decided to take the ASVAB but someone else may need the extra push to just make the investment in themselves.

MoVa Vids it changes from time to time, usually a 33. It’s changed twice that I’ve seen.

I tool the asvab twice in highschool and somehow scored higher the first time, would I be able to use the higher score, or only the most recent score? Also is there a way for a recruiter to pull up my scores if I don’t have that results paper anymore?

    • @airforcerecruiter3662

Daniel Espinoza yes the recruiter can if you provide the date and location of test. Also you must keep the most recent scores, we have no power there, sorry.

Chiko Mba currently some MEPs are closed, and some MEPs are only allowing %50 of people through to keep social distancing. You really should be talking to your local recruiter about this one.

Try checking on the US Airforce website’s careers section, click on cyber security and which job sounds interesting, it’ll list the requirements there.
Some examples would be Cyber Warfare Operations which requires a min 70 on Electrical [E], or Cyber Defense Operations which requires a min 45 on General Knowledge [G], and min 60 on Electronics [E]

No of the picat retake, unless your recruiter used a different social. And no to keeping same score, you have to keep the most recent. Keep in mind the picat still has to be verified, so that is not an official ASVAB score.

So I made a 36 the first time I took the test honestly I did not care one bit I was guessing and clicking on everything I just wanted to be done....then I regret doing it when I got my score I was so mad at my self (LOL) so I've been studying and this marine recruiter has been trying to steal me from the army so I took the paper practice test with him and I made a 57 I was mad he told me that's a good score as long as I score good on my gt but he sent me another practice test on my phone and made a 72 and the army sent me one and I made a 60. Keep in mind I have took several practice test bc I've been studying these are my most recent it seems like the online math was way easier than the math on the paper test I am confused? (UPDATE) I made a 59 with a gt of 110 and all my line scores were 100+

What’s the tattoo policy for the Air Force?

    • @maizymeredith9851
      @maizymeredith9851 3 года назад +1

You can have tattoos as long as they aren’t explicit/offensive and they don’t have any attachment to extreme groups. They also can’t have any negative connotations towards the US. They can be anywhere on your body except collar bone up and wrist down, so like no neck tattoos or hand tats, the only exception is a single ring band on the ring finger like if you’re married
