London, July 1981 - Royal Wedding Week - 8mm home movie

This was originally shot on 8mm film and was taken over the course of Royal Wedding week in July 1981. It features The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Zoo, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Royal Fireworks (in Hyde Park on the eve of the wedding), Trafalgar and Leicester Squares and of course Royal Wedding day footage taken from the top of the Mall at the front of Buckingham Palace.
The film is shakey in places and out of focus, but I did try to clean it up a bit in the editing process, and shorten the firework sequence which goes on far too long!! I hadn't seen this film for many years and brought back some great memories from that very tiring week.
