I was looking at my old ccs catalogs from the 90s and early 2000s since all these reissues are coming out. There are so many shoes i want to make a comeback.
I’m still impressed by how well these came out, no oversized tongue like the Creager, just exactly the shape of the original. The box is great too as you say.
they tried to reissue the JT301 back in 2023 but jamie didnt give them the pass without his permission, he tried to do a collab but couldnt get a response from circa, the shoe looked great and “”almost”” true to the original the only problem was the sole was the same sole from the reissue of the CX201r and that sole sucks so badly it just destroys so fucking fast haha and it doesnt look great on the shoe, overall circa doesnt seem to be doing their work well with reissues.
I think NB# did a great job with the aesthetic look for both of the Tiago shoes. The moment the 1010 came out all I could think of was late 90’s/early 00’s. Then the 808 came out and I thought the same thing.
@@juvedoo99 they look amazing, but I can’t skate them. I can barely wear them. There’s something in the sole that pushes into a part of my foot and puts it to sleep. I wore them around for a while hoping that it might chill out, but it never did.
@@Syrupyraptorprobably one of if not the best skate shoe to come out were the ellingtons. I would also kill for some black leather ones or the white leather red toe dipped ones😩 Emerica was top tier back in 00’s. All of Reynolds shoes, Ellington’s, Tosh, Templetons, Tilts, Spankys ksl1’s etc
I'm happy you're happy with receiving another pair of éS Muska shoes, each with a good video. I just can't bring myself to buy them. This model has a very noisy layered design with a somewhat thin, narrow tongue and lace profile compared to the thick and wide silhouettes of Globe, Osiris and DVS products.
I am looking forward to the Kalis Accend from DC. I've seen videos of him skating in the white/black/grey & white/red colorways. He commented on my comment and said they should be released in July
Something I would like to see is these athletic brands such as Nike and Adidas put more tech into their skate shoes. I feel like they reserve a lot of their tech for their sports shoes. For instance Adidas has had boost for damn near two decades and I only know of one skate shoe they ever put boost in the heel. I would like them to incorporate these newer foams and rubber compounds and such. Back in the day DC would have three different rubber densities on one sole. Depending on what section needed to be more grippy or more durable. That kind of stuff makes the shoes interesting as well. Es was founded on being at the forefront of skate shoe innovation, they should go back to those roots... But keep doing reissues as well.
@@GoldenEraCollector always liked that one as well, his second Cons shoe was a bit out there if I remember correctly I think it had helium in the sole unit. I just remember thinking it didn't look much like a skate shoe. More like tech basketball shoe of it's time or something.

The whole catalog needs to come back

Circa needs a come back, I would love to see a Jamie Thomas 301, or an appleyard 402 or any of the muskas

I had the cx203 in 2003 or 2004 they were so nice

They are treating tiago right
the 808 is a modern masterpiece honestly. The 1010 I wasn’t really into personally. Had a pair but sold it.

Still can’t get over the wavy stitching at the top of the tongue. Do the OG ones have this too?
We need the navy Jamie circas and the 205s Ellingtons and kr3s the bam v2s Reynold 2s but that’s a long shot.
Kenny Anderson v2s
Command dc was sick
Circa 805 white black skulls
But honestly I’d sell my soul for a pair of Ellington 1s in black white leather size 11 . It’s my dream shoe.

Some of the globe shoes are pretty tight
Some of the early globes are top notch. Super tech kinda Osiris ish
Solid colorway

Globes blow out so bad. I’d recommend these. They fit better than D3s
Not all shoes of that era had great big puffy tongues, just watch Muska in Fulfil the Dream, these shoes look great in that.
éS can just hire Franck Boistel; problem solved

Fire
Top new silhouette for me is the new Nike Wair Max, but you've reviewed those already.
Not sure about that, those shoes are pretty ugly imo
Iron and starch my friends
should I go for a size down on these?
Love this shoe
I'm not too crazy about green on skate shoes but I do own a pair of white/gate green pair of cx201s that look dope
What pants are u wearing in this vid

Yea I would love to see large companies like them go all out on a skate shoe design. Like how cons did the chany shoe I love soo much

I love the és reissues more than Osiris cause Osiris feels tight on the pinky and the eS is tight on the big toe side.
Off topic but, If Shanahan ever left DC (if they go under), which company would you see him riding for? Hard to imagine him not wearing DC's...
Prob would go to NB with Tiago
@@baggytony good call
Yea nb or adidas
How can you be more hyped on these than black and red..... thats just illogical lol
Next the Etnies callicut
But we're old. "Fresh" today is a vans, hey dude, crocs, etc. Its simple. You want high 2000s tech skate shoe.
Love this colorway preordered mine instantly 🪄 ✨👟
