Great video! I thought I was watching a much larger RUclipsr! Just wanted to say that the 10x optical zoom is actually 230mm, which you can check in the gallery app! Also, with the 3x and 10x zoom, you can get natural background blur, it just has to be on a subject that is actually closer than distant (small sensor!). But great video!
Thank you! Grateful for the kind words and the insightful comment! It has been quite the journey so far on youtube but I'm loving it! thanks for watching!
Great video and useful comparison points. I think cellphones are still behind professional cameras. Although in some cases, the S23 ultra sure came pretty close. Thanks for the great video!
Did you think about trying to shoot in a manual mode or using 8K video and extract an image to compensate for the shutter lag? I realize that most people will go fully automatic on the phone, but as a pro you must use manual a percentage of the time on the Canon (which is a great camera).
That's a really interesting idea! I was more so thinking along the lines of generating that raw file to be able to tweak as I would a regular raw image from a dslr. But that 8k idea is such a cool idea.
Smartphones are designed to have a camera in your pocket when you see a composition and realizing you didnt bring your canon.. It cannot compete with pro cameras, but it can be handy
Hello, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation. Does this could be applied to all flagsjip phones? For example, would iPhone 14 Pro Max would be better? Or it also use lots of software for photos and can create artifacts, etc?
There's probably some similarities. phone sensors are all pretty small so getting that blurry background is difficult and most do it through software. But I wouldn't say everything is exactly the same across all phones. And also who knows, maybe Apple or Samsung will come out with something next month that revolutionizes their phones and it becomes really professional worthy. Fingers crossed.
Thank for this video 😊 plz i have one question can answer me my english so bad also. I'm a profisonal photographer i finished school last months so you think S23 ultra is enough for photographer or i should buy a camera?
Camera isn't worth crap though. They did the stupidest thing By adding a 3 second shutter delay you cant disable,Which means now you can only take pictures. After a 3 second delay! how realistic Is it to expect us to be able to take photos in most situations of things that have a potential to move? Or Are we only supposed to take photos of stationary objects that will never move? Really? Invalidates half The reason for owning this phone.
That haircut is Gold bro 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brother, don't snub the hair! It wins ladies! :P haha

You should first check settings and change them to make shutter speed fast

@@beauty_and_boudoir got it, thanks a lot for response and all the efforts of making a great video with a such detailed comparison
Nice video!
Thank you so much!
You need to have the camera assistant in order for you to avoid shutter lag

definitely buy a dslr camera. The S23 Ultra is good for candid photography, but not for professional shoots.
Your English is so good
Infant your English is really English-ing
Thank you!
Can you compare the s23 ultra with iphone 14 pro max as a professional photographer
If I can get my hands on an iPhone for sure
S23 Ultra is just an okay camera. It can only capture very still photos. But other things are good.
Agreed!

Yes agreed. I know how you feel. It's very frustrating waiting for the shutter lag
