You must check out his "Peckham" sketch. It is arguably the joint greatest ever stand up routine, in history. It is so good that it is entitled to share such a coveted and lofty accolade with Benny Hill's "I'd reached the age of 14" sketch. Simon is ignored by by TV execs, here, in the UK. The same applies to Stewart Francis, who has to be the greatest ever, exponent ,in the art of the stand up "One liners" format.

A truly remarkable, intelligent, stand up comedian. This was an enjoyable upload, albeit our Simon deserved a greater allotment of time for this very appreciative audience. The construction of that piece, along with his delivery and timing, and his vocal inflections, is simply astounding. It is probably the only performance that has earnt the right to share equally with Benny Hills "I'd reached the age of 14" sketch, the award for the greatest ever performance in stand up history. People must remember Benny's piece was also performed "live" to a captive audience, but then included within his eagerly awaited bi-monthly episodes of "The Benny Hill" show. I can give Simon no higher accolade than that, as the great Charlie Chaplin believed Benny to be the funniest comedian to have ever lived,.. which is stating the obvious, of course. Well done Simon!
***** I second the earlier comment of what is wrong with having children in your 50s... But, Simon Evans is actually 49; and this video isn't new either so he probably had his children when he was about 40; hardly an outrageous age.
***** You've got to be joking??... My Wife's Dad was 47 when he became a Dad again with her younger sister... 47... He is now 68 and perfectly healthy and still working; her sister is 21 years old and has moved in with her boyfriend. You have no idea what you're talking about.
