It's a crime that Simon's not more widely acknowledged for his genius
Such a great comedian! That delivery on the Welsh joke was flawless!
Quintessentially English humour. Love it
Simon Evans is just the best!.......and we don't see him nearly enough!-
What a genius!
He is just a superb comedian, would love to see him live, he is just brilliant
This is all very well, but where are his eyes?
The lenses in his glasses give a lot more clarity 🤣
My chaps eye is bigger than them
@@pt1sa1😆😆😆is that the PC version of saying Jap’s eye? 🤪🤪🤪
@pt1sa1 are you sure about "chaps" ? 😅 oh how innocent!
Like your style mate. Its funny as. Good work.
Simon Evans is awesome!
I love the part about having kids. No truer words have been said!
Great stuff.
Brilliant 😂😂😂
Seen him live. Really good.
Ain't seen this bloke in years. Still on form.
Should be far, far more well known, his material and delivery are second to (none) very few top comedians.

Is my favourite bit.
"Nice enough kids, objectively. But why do they have to live with me?"
Saw him live last night. Amazing
He is excellent!!
Very good! Can’t believe I am only just discovering this gent!
Have you heard simon evans goes to market? Can be found on the bbc sounds app and also here on RUclips… it’s hilarious!!👍🏽
Where's his eyes? 😉😂
He’s stoned off his chops
Now there's a fan!
Universal Comedy: universal means the British Isles
Me: Perfectly okay with that
Is that Ricky Gervais in the audience at 55 seconds?
Very funny man.
I actually bought the DVD and laughed, have since realised he's (accidentally?) the clipped voice of complacent boomer Britain
He's Gen X, born in 1965
If you're first routine is a winner, might as well keep it for 30 years.
Good observations Stewie.
Can anyone upload a complete performance?
Very funny
Please at the very least consult some literature on mixing dialog and fx for broadcast; that sound effect that you end each video with makes me hit the ceiling every single time! Made even worse if you happen to look away from the screen at that exact moment!
Haha
I like him but every clip I see, from different places and years, the jokes are exactly the same. Which is sad.
Because a parking meter is more valuable than kid working at Mc Donalds. The parking meter can’t go on “strike” for more pay. The patting meter doesn’t expect vacation pay, holiday pay, sick leave pay, maternity leave pay, health insurance, overtime pay, hazardous pay, break-time pay, workers’ compensation insurance, medicare, social security, unemployment insurance, a retirement plan or pension plans, annual pay raises, won’t sue the owner for sexual harassment, deal with employee grievances and complaints, discrimination, worksite adjustments to accommodate religious rights, liability claims, the meter owner doesn’t have to pay high payroll taxes, payroll accounting expenses, hiring costs, doesn’t need to establish an HR department, or file dozens of complicated required State, Federal, and local payroll reports, new meters don’t need to be trained, supervised, disciplined, can be easily “fired” or replaced without drama or repercussions, won’t resort to company sabotage or spitting into or contaminating the food if disgruntled, one meter is not jealous of other meters who make more money, meters can’t be rude to customers, and can’t unionize. And a lot more. Try starting a business and hiring people and find out for yourself.
Alton Brown is pretty funny, eh?
@@BrotherChad lol
@@BrotherChad For someone who claims to have been homeless your lack of compassion & empathy is truly astounding.Unless you're just some troll looking to dump on somebody. Anyway, God forgive you.
It is a crime that Simon is so far-right and tries to extract comedy from his nasty fascist views.
Miaow!!!
Honestly?
An exceptionalist English-First remark and an derogatary joke about the Welsh, and both within less than five minutes?
Is that funny?
Nope
@@hugelpook
Well the audience obviously thought it was appropriate.
They laughed, for whatever reason.
@@YouD0ntSay and they clapped! Possibly it resonated with their colonialist subconscious.
Honestly, you need to lighten up.
Yes it was funny and yes I'm Welsh
