@@samminewbyNice. I landed on the 77 S90c. Do you notice any lack of depth or 3d pop missing on the Samsung as opposed to the G3? My only complaint with the s90c is there seems to be worse contrast than my CX.
S89C is insane at $1799 for a 77”. Essentially the same as a S95C but almost $2000 cheaper with better speakers and better for gaming since the one connect box has the bandwidth issues.
I’m more of a LG fan mainly because they’ve been doing this longer, and have very little issues other than sometimes banding. In which you won’t notice while watching tv or playing games. I am intrested in QD OLED either S90C or 95C but there’s burn in that happens much quicker, then there’s the whites that have that reddish tint to them also it’s a new tech so it hasn’t ironed out all the issues yet. The most worrying thing other then burn in is that black screen issue I see a lot of. I really rather not drop over 3k on a tv so for rn I’m debating on the 77inch LG C3 or the 77inch S90C. Both look great and your take on these 3 mods are very well done thx for the great content.
In Saudi Arabia the C3 55” cost around 1150$ and the G3 around 1650$ and the big surprise as the S95C cost 1000$ all of them 55” . So I didn’t need much time to decide the s95c is by far the best deal in the market
Whats not taken into account here at all is that the brighter screen, like in that led image, isnt just overly bright like that, its the camera struggling with 3 images and not knowing which one to correct for, so the lower brightness one will look the best. IRL the brighter one is the best
Room constraints mean we are forced to position the TV in front of a large window. This makes daytime viewing difficult without closing the blinds. Will a brighter panel display of a modern TV help ? Our current LG model is old and didn't cope. Appreciate recommendations for this setting please. Found your reviews helpful but want to research further before committing to purchase. Thanks
I am deciding between a Samsung S90C and the LG C3 - the price difference is about £100 (S90C is cheaper). Just wondered what your thoughts are on these 2 models. Thanks
@@snorkelgutt I would say the biggest differences are the speed of the UI it's very snappy and loads very quickly. Then the brightness in SDR and HDR. When playing in SDR the brightness is so much better everything just pops and HDR is the same but even better. When in HDR the specular highlights are awesome. Honestly the C1 is an awesome TV but if you change to the G3 you'll be thinking I should have done this sooner.
@@sharpkatana1178 thanks for answering, I guess I have to rewatch my fav movies when getting the G3, waiting for Black Friday to see how prices turn out:)
@@snorkelgutt hey no problem I know how hard it can be making that jump especially with how expensive things are these days. You just want to know your hard earned cash is going to the right things. I'm waiting for a price drop for the G3 to get the 77 inch hoping that in a month time or two it will drop cause of the G4 being launched. It's a big investment but I always wanted a huge oled bright screen and I'm planning to keep it long time.
I just ordered 83" C3, since it was the same price as 77" G3 and S95c. I will always argue, that you will notice almost 7" difference (they are in fact exactly 83.5" vs 76.77") much more than increase in brightness, specially at my 14' viewing distance. Not replacement for displacement :) In fact, if I would go 77" route I would definitely got S90c, it is the best value for money out of all at that size.
My g3 has been amazing and picked it up for £1900 at richer sounds 6 Yr Warrenty, down from £3500 bargain, i did run a oled burn in slideshow on dynamic setting full bladt for 24hrs and that then made my screen perfect, no lines in greys

Edit: It look a lot longer than I exptected and I changed my mind. Getting the 65 inch s90c (zero blackouts chance) and q990c soundbar.
For me it would be the C3 because I dont need QD's and I dont need all that extra brightness.
You need the brightness for HDR10 content.
