Favorite Ways to Get Rid of Weeds

- I HATE pulling weeds. Who actually likes it?! But, these all help make it a little more bearable 👏🏻
🌟 Things to note:
•The weed torcher is kind of fun! It does require a propane tank & it can take a minute for your weeds to dry up. Apply the flame to the BASE of the weed which causes the moisture to evaporate & kills the weed. As always follow safety precautions and use good judgment. This could be a fun Father's or Mother's Day gift if you ask me 😏
•The stand up weeder is my all time favorite weed tool! It works best with dandelions. It's just so satisfying and a sign I'm old for how much I love it. When you get a dandelion by the root 😮💨
•Vinegar weed killer: 1 gallon white vinegar, 1 tablespoon dawn dish soap, 1 cup salt. Mix the solution until combined l, pour into a garden sprayer, spray the base of the weed, and let it sit for 24 hours.

You got to be careful with weed torches because if you are going up against a wall, and happen to go near a water drainage block on the wall, it can catch fire to the weeds on the other side of the wall. You could burn down the neighborhood. Have a spotter with a water hose watching.
Dandelions are the most nutritionally dense plants on the planet. FYI
Also pointless if they’re in an open yard for animals to pee on, if cars drive by, or if they’re sprayed with chemicals
I have that same stupid weed puller and it only gets the whole root if the ground is wet. After a good rain is the only time incan get the whole carrot of a root out.
Bummer! We haven't had the problem! You do have to put your body weight into it to get it into the ground!
What about those roots that stick out the ground i have a bed in front of my house with roots and cant exactly pull them out and would like to restore the bed itself
people who call dandelions weeds blow me away. just look into what dandelions are capable of.
They may do a lot of good, but they can also destroy a yard pretty quick.
@@galpractical i dont understand the appeal of a bare yard. to each their own, but we gotta at least acknowledge the use cases. if you like a yard with no dandelions, im not shaming.

I won't get on board with using salt
You don't have to! You get to make your own decisions 👍🏻. But, I prefer this over round up to protect my kids and pets 🙌🏻

When you have 8.274 sq feet of grass and 5 different ways to pull weeds you are doing too much, spending too much on it, sonate to a homeless person on the street instead, not to a charity thats for tax evasion......
When you're judging someone's whole life off a 30 second weed video ....you're judging too hard . Turn that judgment into some love next time 👏🏻
@@galpractical I did, love towards homeless people that are more deserving of the money spent on extraneous ineffective weed killing devices, and made sure to remind that charity isn't for helping the people in need it rarely makes it to those in need, and I didn't judge anyone I based my comment on the facts in the video, I hope you are having a great day or night!
