Doesn’t matter what type you use if it is a mature weed it will not work.
This is designed for very young weeds.
As for the hole fill it in with a bit of grass seed.

I just bought this and wish I watched your video first. But it does say it destroys the root, not pulls it up. I think I'll return mine anyways.

It does and a big hole. It doesn't make sense to me because dandelions can grow back with even a tiny piece of the root left behind. Waste of money.

Dandelion roots are an average of 6 to 18 inch tap root.
