Ive watched him tell his story twice now watchin other podcasts, and i just love this guy for some reason... just hits an emotional bone for me.
I’m at Amazon delivery driver. I’ll listen to the Your podcast every single day. And I listen to Matt Coxx Podcast and John Bosniak is app! It gives me through the long ass tiring shift. It gives me the energy to keep going. Interviews
Thank you...slot of disabled people thank you.
this is by far the best podcast I've seen in a really long time... Awesome job brotha!
Im just SO BLOWN AWAY by your story . Its going to take some time to process this. There were times where all I could do was cry. The presence you have and have had is so amazing. I grew up in an absolute family CRAZY. . Your father an army pilot. My father a doctor. And mothers- narcissistic, So much I could relate to. Thankyou so much ! Someone needs to make a movie about your life. Thankyoi !
This is one of the best pods you all have came out with. Reminds me of when you first brought Matt Cox on.
I knew this one was coming! Great stuff Danny!!! Brett is quite a character, and just an all around great guy. I've reached out to him for advice on some things recently, and he's been amazingly supportive...without even knowing me from Adam. He's living proof that human beings can change for the better !

This is the most interesting podcast guest i’ve ever watched, my own opinion of course but wow, he’s well spoken, a good storyteller, and easy to understand. Can’t ask for more!
Great Pod! Thanks fam
Really good story. & he’s got a great way of telling stories, he’s got an amazing memory. I & I love how he even remembers & drops everyone’s first & last name. Interviewer didn’t have to get it out of him like majority of podcasts & didnt interrupt much at all.
This Guy's story and mainly his ability to tell it is Incredible! Best part is he was given a Million Dollar Voice and had he gone into Theater at a young age like that teacher wanted he probably would of been steered into voice work at a young age. Being a sort of "Recovering Career Criminal" myself I really Identify with so much of his story. He's the kind of Guy that you meet for a drink and end up talking until close.
Easily one of your guys' best podcasts to date. Brett is an amazing story teller!
Amazing Interview Thank you to the host for just letting the man speak.
Excellent interview!
Listening to this story makes me think of my childhood. I love Koncrete! Keep it going! My dad was a huge drug dealer and I was his mule at times at just 13 years old. Crazy shit. Love listening man.
Interesting life story 🙏🦾 be safe 🙏
Watch your language
Your voice is like cashmere on bare skin. i could listen to you talk all day! Great heartfelt story. You may have been a liar but that was one of the most real expressions of true emotion i have seen in a long time. Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable. It is so touching to see these things actually effect you in some deep ways.
Amazing podcast, this guy is a wealth of stories and information!
Bret is an awesome story teller! I really enjoyed this interview. Man, it’s like watching a movie. I could easily see 4 or 5 movies from this guy and his associates.
Since he is so amazing and wonderful maybe you can meet him one day and toss his salad.
@wildestcowboy2668 aren't you just a little ray of sunshine. Sorry your formative years were so shit that you ended up the way you are.
@@Tomeccho At times I suppose, usually I calls them like I sees them! Take care my friend
@wildestcowboy2668 yeah, I can respect that. No point sugarcoating things. Just sprinkle a little honey with the vinegar sometimes, I'd advise. No offence intended. I'm almost at the age where I can use my years as an excuse lol and have to remind myself to be less of a bitch too often 🙃
I love how he looks like fluffy when he laughs it makes me smile lol.
first podcast ive watched all the way through in over a year!!
This was one of the best pieces of media I have ever watched. Ever.
Fantastic interview!!
I've been watching this throughout the day and it is so epic!
My grandfather is Haskell Walter's and from that area. My mom was born in Olive Hill and related to the Hatfieds. My dad's name is William Gibson and he was born in Williamson, WV hospital in 1942. My dad's grandpa was a sheriff in Hazard county of 400 people in those days. Around, 1874. Anyhow, he got shot in the back with a 12 gauge, because he complained of his neighbors hogs eating his garden up. Think about this. The sheriff of the county confronts you and tells you, if I every catch your hags in my garden I will kill them and eat them. After saying that, he turned around to go home and the rest is history. Anyhow, I have his starstill
This story is a movie! So crazy!! Great podcast!! 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome interview!
He really tells the story of his childhood very well and in a comedic tone, even though at the core it is extremely sad and heartbreaking. Really shows how that even raised in a hellish, abusive and violent childhood you can still change for the better. I was lucky to be raised by two loving and caring parents, looking back I was very lucky to have such a great environment to grow up in, I still rebelled to my parents alot, always wanted to make my own decisions and choices even if they were the worst possible ones. I had every option and path to a greater adult life, but I took the path of crime. I always did not liked crimes that affected the victims and it took about 10 years or so for me to stay away from those types of crimes that affected the average person. I now wish that I had listened to my parents and took every piece of advice that they had tried to give me, I would be in a much greater position in life right now, but you can't dwell on these types of things you have to just get up and move on to a better life.
We want to hear about cybercrimes not his life at Kmart as a kid
@@MrBoxingnun darn Skippy, I'm glad you told that clown off. Cybercrimes not his Mom getting a train ran on her!
This may have been the most entertaining podcast I've ever watched. Absolutely captivated from the jump.
Great podcast! Fascinating man..even the smartest people can't achieve this kind of fraud.
Someone needs to make a film out of his life, just incredible. These interviews are so awesome!

i have to Say that for A' Long while i was super skeptical aboutt Danny.

He always asks the really hard hitting questions and Always allows for the interviewee the proper time to provide their Full, detailed Response.
These are FUCKENN Awesome!!
And this pod will inevitably Eventually become Massive if these continue to roll-Out.

Easily one of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard. This channel is the shit man. 💯
First time on this channel. Great video ! Dudes story is awesome. Should make a movie about him.
Thanks Bryan!
Love your work mate 🇦🇺
Solid podcast. Throughly enjoyed listening to this man’s story
Definitely interesting but he’s totally full of himself. I heard his story on Lex Fridman’s podcast. All these criminals like this guy and Matthew Cox are narcissists, so… the guy is totally impressed with himself. I mean he’s a scumbag - call a spade a spade. Is he reformed??? Maybe
Informative! Now l had to fast forward through all of the personal, and, relationship problems, l am 68,l have experienced all that shit. I want the crime stories!
My mistake for thinking this started off slow or wasn't going to be a good interview! Great job very interesting stuff!
In the words of Gordan Ramsey "Wow wow wow" This was chef's kiss guys. Brett is awesome
Holy shit! This dude is the dark side Dave Ramsey 🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking of this
Dave Ramsey is a crook too. He backed the wrong timeshare company and lost his listeners millions of dollars 💰
I am from the Tricities TN and let just say he's not the only one in this area that has this type of family. I live 10 miles from the Ft. Henry Mall. I can visuals see that whole mall situation going down.
Brooo I know it LOL
Brett, it’s fascinating but not uncommon how you developed your father’s relationship attachment style after seeing his relationship with your mother growing up.
The platform is life!
Amazing podcast👌💪
Absolutely 💯 fascinating 👏!
@Brett Johnson Thank you for speaking!
LOVES THE SOUND OF HIS OWN VOICE
This needs to be a movie
Found about about him from Web of Make Believe. After listening to his full story he is so detailed recounting his story it amazes me
Yooo I’m from Kingsport Bristol area I was kinda listening while I worked but perked up when I heard that crazy story and small world
fascinating story
Claiming addicts can only care about getting high or their next fix is just nonsense, if that were true then talking people into getting clean would be impossible, not just it feeling impossible.
Amazing.
always listening to this podcast at work. keep interviewing these interesting scum bags. I feel right at home .
LOL
This foo is gangster! wonderful episode! Thanks 💯
This podcast has some of the most interesting people I’ve never herd about, I just wish Danny would let them talk more instead of interrupting them in the middle of a story to skip way ahead
Ready for that BTLS interview
Can you imagine how much more money he could have stolen if only he had a fine arts degree? 🦖
I could listen to him all day
I have to call BS on the helicopter pilot deal. I was in the military and never heard anything close to that.
What did he say about a pilot? Must've missed it

If I find an sd card or thumb drive I’ll check it first on a dummy computer without a wifi card and Bluetooth 😁
Great podcast. Need more volume. I can’t hear your podcasts in the shower or on the road or at the gym. I can only hear them in dead silence. Make it louder. People can always turn the volume down. Can’t turn it up any louder. Thanks!

I was looking for this guy, couldn't find him, oh that's right, he's a fugitive.
@Brett Johnson Danny and Ben!!
This guy has a bright future playing Dave Ramsey.
It's crazy to hear him talk about Fort Henry Mall in Kingsport TN. I got busted at the same Mall when I was 13, trying to sell weed..smh
The cornbread mafia book is awesome just for guys info you should try n get one of the leaders on here if there still alive Johnny Boone and the other guys last name is bickett

Silkroads DID change the world. Good on them.
It is cliche, but if this guy had put as much effort into legal activities as he did into illegal activities, he would have been very successful. He is smart, creative, hard working and curious. Maybe it is the thrill of taking such great personal risks.
That can be said for the vast majority of prison as well
@@Timmy2fingers idk about “vast majority” that’s a stretch lol
Im surprised Darknet Diaries hasn't already had him on. What a great episode!
@Brett Johnson hey Brett, excellent show! Glad to hear you are doing well. I totally agree with what you said about people needing assistance when getting out. I had to do 6 months state time at age 18 at a minimum yard where they had a boot camp program. Expungement was dependent on the completion of the program and 2 years supervised release or I was looking at 15 years state time. Basically got caught blackmailing a professor sleeping with a student of his, and thank christ I came in under the minimums for the feds to get involved. Anyhow, I had full support of my family and was able to start right back in college, albeit a Different college! 20 years later and Im an airline captain. Easily could have gone the other way if my family wasn't there to pick up the pieces until I got going on my own power.
Where are the people like Brett that have become success stories helping others with background issues get jobs?
What shocks me is why none of these idiots had the where-with-all to put money away, too use later in life. The funniest take away from all this is they think they’re smart.
Or did they....🤔 sure wouldn't admit it on here if they did.
Of course they did and those that walked away, you more than likely won't see being interviewed
I love this man. track 2 is only used. heads up some banks algorithm so shitty you can make track 2 after 16 digits of card. the days cnp fraud is manually entering card
Little late watching this video but I live in NC and growing up everyone on my Mill Hill neighborhood grew up like this. It's a hard life to live I been out of there for 15 yrs and when I drive through there it is still the same way gets breed into them.
Absolutely love Koncrete. Aside from Randall Carlson this is probably 2nd or 3rd best guess you've had I mean that overtaking with Matt Cox in the beginning dude was pretty awesome but love this guy right here to death sorry it happened to you my man couldn't imagine but you turned a foot you've done some cool stuff go live it dude you deserve good just as much as the next person does

Wayyyy better than the other bald guy with the cards
@Brett Johnson John Boseak I like his interview as well though, I don't agree with this other guy comment, However this was a great interview 👍 and I really want to start my own podcast soon and I would love to have you on mines as well.
@@diorcarter9084 That tiny bald guy claims he took edibles before the interview, so he was talking in circles and would lose his train of thought mid sentence at times. He also couldn’t remember things and blamed it on being ‘too high’. It was pretty stupid to do right before an interview that you could really capitalize off of like Matt Cox has!
