This format has you presenting more useful information packed densely and concisely in 4 minutes than your long-form content. Thank you, sir. May we have another?
Whoa it was less than 4 minutes I can't believe it is possible, I want to see more tutorial like this in future because I am loving t-shirt design tutorial on Photoshop
Thank you for posting this. I know there's a way to do it in the layers panel, but I can never remember how to do it. This is much easier for me to remember. Your videos rock dude, I like every single one to try and boost your channel! Thanks so much for posting.
Been using this distress border technique since you mentioned & showed it on the T-shirt review videos, super handy technique! Many thanks | Much Love, Peace & Respect | Stay Safe
Thx for the vid ! A true God send right on time. Was struggling almost an hr before finding your video in kittl trying to achieve this lol (trying to save time) But didn't know I could do this in PS lol.
@@shimmymorris1 Hey Shimmy, there's one request for you. Can you guide us about Teespring's latest launch of digital product selling? like what will be upload dimensions, how much price should we fix etc?
Thank you for a great tutorial and for the info you offer through this channel. I am watching yt videos on POD, made 12 sales on redbubble since November, mostly stickers but I think it's still okish. I am always looking for ways to optimise my designs. But I do have a question: why not transform the mask and make it slightly taller and larger, so all the design is visible and the text is not cut off? this is a great idea but I would use it on the edges only. Also, I always make sure the grunge textures I use are commercial free when saving them. Someone worked on those too. And if you have a few that are good high quality and you can use them again and again, I would consider purchasing a pack even if it's not free. Like fonts, the textures/overlays have a great visual impact on the finished piece.
that's awesome! nice! I was going to expand the mask but I thought the top of the picture was irrelevant anyway. The difference with the commercial rights of the grunge border, you're not using the border but you've cut it away, and it's a totally different picture, if you kept the border there then you'd be right, you wouldn't be able to use it
I was wondering how would I print that onto a black fabric, wouldnt it be hard for vinyl to cut edges like that? Since i cant sublimate on black garmet. Hope to hear from you soon!
Bro i got a question. What about opacity in this design will it affect the outcome in DTP print on demand? For example on white t-shirt or you need change the opacity part to halftones to look good?
I have one question. I have noticed that you are using RGB color mode. But if I use this in CMYK mode then the colors become horrible. Should I make the design in RGB mode so that people can see the vibrant colors on screen, or should I go with CMYK mode
Very helpful video Shimmy. I Will have to try that in Gimp. I did a search for trends on Redbubble and found Sleeplng Serpent trending with only 38 items. Do you think that is worth trying to create a design for?
So the first time I tried this it worked like a charm. Now I tried again the same day only about an hr later and it won't work. Not sure what is up but I am super frustrated now!! grrrrrrr
Thank you for this tutorial! So useful!
Wow thank you!!

That’s a good idea!
Perfect timing, we’ve been slapping brushes all around the edge this is so much faster... and better
I. used to do that too! This is definitely easier

Well done 👍 Shimmy.

I am new to t-shirt design....do you have a video on how to do this in another program such as photopea or canva?
Not yet! but i can if that helps
Does anyone know how to do this on canva?
When I bough the grunge over, the middle was white not transparent and I selected the same grunge you did. What did i miss?
Bro i got a question. What about opacity in this design will it affect the outcome in DTP print on demand? For example on white t-shirt or you need change the opacity part to halftones to look good?
opacity will effect the print for sure. I never really mess with that
yes make more short tutorial like this
awesome! thanks for the support
Good stuff ill figure it out on affinity designer lol
nice! it can definitely be done on their too
Why this vidéos was nit released earlier in the morning when i needed it😂😂
it's never to late
Thank u so much👍
Most welcome 😊
Hello, when i try this it deletes the entire photo instead of tge grunge part. Please advise
make sure you you've selected the inverse so it deletes the outside
Thanks Bro!
i thank you kindly good sir. helped me a lot

awesome, let me know how it goes in GIMP. That doesn't sound like there's any demand but give it a go, why not
Less than a week after I made that comment here there are now 138 designs for sleeping serpent. Maybe I should have kept quiet.

Did you just teach people to steal grunge border images off the internet?? I didn’t see that your image came from a public domain site.
