@Priest, Just a few things that I noticed. When recording software records your key strokes, they usually don't record keys you just hit anywhere on the screen. In fact, I haven't seen any that do that. What they do is record when you type somewhere. Like a website, or something like that. So, just hitting random keys when not typing will not work. That is also why it shows that it will give the option to not show passwords. I haven't had a recording software myself that has that feature before, but I know some others that use pay to use professional programs that have this feature. They use them to make notes of things to edit, or add to the video at those places. Also, they will sometimes make a long video, and use those as markers where they want to end the video and start recording another video. I notice you were surprised that the mic audio is not shown as a separate track after you export it. That is most likely because it is recorded as a separate track so that is can be edited as needed in their own software. If you export it to use in another editor besides their own, you will have this problem. I have used other free versions of recording software, and have found things similar to these as a way to try to force people to buy their software. Lastly, I noticed that you were surprised that the player looked like a video editor. At first, I thought you were making a joke about it, until I realized you seemed honestly surprised about it. If you recall, the premium version comes with the editing software. Almost all editing software comes with something like a player built in. It allows you to play the video while editing it. If you remove the editing part of the software (get a free version that doesn't have the editing software), then you only have the player version left. That is exactly what it looks like they did here. Some audio recording software I have used in the past that had a free version and a premium version where you can edit music did a similar thing. The player looked almost like the editor, but without the editing features. I know this video is a year old. But, just thought I would go ahead and point these out in case you have not found out yet about these. Razar.

Can anybody please help me? I was recordind a speedpaint, and when I've done it and stopped recording, the player got opened with the video, I started editing it but suddenly the player closed and I now can't find my video anywhere! Please anybody help me ;(
Notes could be useful as a visual diary to keep in a personal video diary and as information to others in a institutional context or individually to a certain person as a team member to team member and senior management or families as well via webcam or video recordings, notes and information that you cannot stay over a video are important? And some sections of footage and secret messages?

Hii As I uninstalled old version and installed new version Flashback Express.So my concern is how to recover old recorded videos which were recorded in old version? Note: I have not deleted old videos from my laptop.
I listened to this and got flashback express, and I hate it. it almost never records the audio correctly and the video always comes back laggy like it was at 7fps when I set the FPS to 24. you literally cannot record gameplay with this without there being loads of random drops in Frame Rate whenever something interesting happens in your video. please do not get this, its genuinely sucks and I have no idea why people praise it so much
I have along recording to make so I'm looking for a recorder that will record 1 minute clips every 15minutes for 12 hours for example. Will this program do that?

It was the best but so much has changed. Those were the good days. Today flashback express ain't free. Nope, it says free but when you install it, it has a time limit of 2 min. 2 MINUTES. For unlimited you need to upgrade which cost £24. That's a rip off.

True but I also would recommend xsplit gamecaster I just wouldn't recommend flashback express if your doing commentary because you can edit the mic audio at least I don't think
How do you uninstall it though, you have to open the flashback express uninstall tool to delete it, but then it tells you that you need to close it to uninstall it.
I'm pretty sure you can just press right-click on it and click the delete button. It will then be automaticaly transfered to the ''Bin''. That's where you can delete it from the ''Bin''. Once you have deleted it from the ''Bin'' it's not in your computer, chromebook or PC anymore.
Sometimes when you close a window, it's not really closed because you can see it on the right corner arrow (looks like ^). Close it there. And uninstall. It works. I tried it.

Within the options of the recorder, in "recording mode", you must choose the "MPEG" mode and increase the "frames per second". Although the truth, it does not perform smooth recordings in applications that use "hardware acceleration".
