    This PVC trim is great in my opinion. The swelling and water wick of wood makes paint chip and flake off. But the PVC holds paint much better. Definitely worth a try.
    For PVC trim to the home use TeQ Mount Adhesive and for PVC to PVC use Oatey Heavy-duty Clear PVC Cement. (both products are linked above) For some reason, Lowes does put the glues right next to the boards. That may change but if you don't see it, go to the paint section and the sprinkler section.
    The boards I used are Royal Mouldings Limited PVC Board and they come in several profiles and sizes.
