@@ishdevicente2637 i would! great price point for people who want a camera without breaking the bank, lots of budget friendly (but still quality) lenses. i’d recommend it from the point of view that i know nothing about what you’re trying to shoot or what you’re looking for though. if you have specific requirements in mind, those would factor into the decision
i’m just personally really not a fan of lenses that have an aperture that’s slower than f2.8, especially with a variable aperture that goes to f5.6. i feel like you’re better off saving the kit lens money and just buy another lens with it
@@herokme Good point - was thinking if it was worth the $120 (I'm also in Ontario). Instead get the TTArtisan 27mm for $209, may their 10 and 56 too later. Thank and keep up the great work.
@herokme awesome, thought so, keen to see what the recipe is as I have been playing around with a few on overcast days and havnt found many i love yet, but this one looks cool 👌
Hello great video, I wonder which focus you are using? Because my machine is the same and I have the same lens, but sometimes it does not focus and gives a red warning.
googling that problem seems like you might be focusing on things that have low contrast, so the camera is having trouble figuring out what to focus on, or there might not be enough light. does that warning appear all the time? or only in specific situations?
I'm thinking of purchasing this camera. How do you control the settings while shooting in manual since this camera doesn't have the some dials as other Fuji cameras? Thank you!
you can use the front and back dials that can control everything. i just came out with another video that talks about setting up the xm5, you can see how i assign my dials there!
i used manual here! i rarely ever shoot aperture priority, but i think that’s just all preference. i used a custom film simulation too, ill probably do a full video on that soon
@herokme true.. my personal wish if I (we) could have a 18mm pancake lens.. like one fitted into x70 or xf10.. things would have been wonderful.. I m letting go mine.. thanks to vloggers like u who make such sumptuous videos to keep demand up 🙏💚
@@herokme I brought it to as ' carry all day-use all day's camera.. but it's not getting used as much as my Huawei p60pro or my xf10.. 27mm is not for me.. so therefore it's compact but not compact enough yet!! Lovely content sir !! 💚🙏
@herokme super! Tnx! I am considering buying this camera, but is it true, that as it doesn't have ibis, you only should use it with objektives, that have ios? Thanks!
yep, it doesn’t have ibis. i don’t think it’s as much of a problem for photos, but if you’re going to do handheld stuff a lot, a lens with stabilization built in would be handy
What a blessing to live in a beautiful city like this lol the compositions are endless
haha i definitely agree 🔥
rain and street photography, what a vibe
the vibiest vibe 😎
Yes to full video on film simulation pls 😅
you got it!
雨中街拍的好美😻
Great vid, yes a full video on film simulations and how to add them to your fujifilm camera for beginners would be fantastic!
coming soon! thanks for the support! 🙏🏻
Got mine recently and I love your street stills! Amazing video!
so glad you liked it! enjoy the xm5! 🔥
awesome! waiting for your film simulation video
coming soon!
Shots are amazing!!!!
really appreciate that! 🙏🏻
@herokme would you recommend this camera to someone who's just getting into photography?

@@herokme Oh great. Thanks! Nothing specific really, just wanted a travel and user friendly camera.☺
i think you’ll enjoy it!
Those Sooc shots are 🔥🔥🔥🔥
appreciate that man! 🔥
Cool video as usual! Waiting for your film simulation video 🎉 Merci 🙏
coming soon! thanks for the support! 🙏🏻
Amazing video.
thank you! 🔥
Sick shots ! Very interested in your film simulation 🙏🏼
i’ll definitely make a video about my favourite film simulations soon!
@ Great thanks, looking forward to it

Great production. Lots of work well done. Question: you prefer the TTArtisan 27mm over using the kit lens? Why? I'm tempted to do the same.
i’m just personally really not a fan of lenses that have an aperture that’s slower than f2.8, especially with a variable aperture that goes to f5.6. i feel like you’re better off saving the kit lens money and just buy another lens with it

@miatared canada gang! i would check out viltrox as well, their 35mm f1.7 is a favourite of mine also. but both brands make great lenses
@@herokme Good to know. Now if I can just find the X-M5 in stock somewhere - seems no one has any... end of February I read at Vistek...
@miatared try checking aden camera. not sure of their stock/waitlist, but worth a shot
did you update the ttartisan lens?
i believe it was already updated when i received it
Nice video ! I had some questions about this camera !
- How's the video (IBIS)
- How is the X-M5 compared to Fuji X100V ?
there’s no ibis on the xm5. i unfortunately don’t have the x100v or x100vi, but i’m thinking of picking one up!
Please tutorial also for manual shooting. Thank you
I'm debating between the x-m5 and x-s20. which do you think would be better as an everyday camera to capture friends, family, travels etc?
i haven’t used the xs-20 unfortunately so hard to say. i do like the xm5 as an everyday camera though!
👌👌 what film simulation did you use for this recipe? Is it classic chrome? 6:24
it’s a custom film simulation, but the base is classic chrome!
@herokme awesome, thought so, keen to see what the recipe is as I have been playing around with a few on overcast days and havnt found many i love yet, but this one looks cool 👌
i’ll have a full video out on my favourite recipes soon!
Hello great video, I wonder which focus you are using? Because my machine is the same and I have the same lens, but sometimes it does not focus and gives a red warning.
i use af-c. i have another video that shows all my xm5 settings. what does the warning say?
@@herokme Thanks for your answer. The warning says af and there is an exclamation mark.
googling that problem seems like you might be focusing on things that have low contrast, so the camera is having trouble figuring out what to focus on, or there might not be enough light. does that warning appear all the time? or only in specific situations?
@ Thank you very much. Yes, it only appears in certain situations.
Hi, Tell me, please, what camera do you use to shoot videos? I really like the color of the videos.
the main pov camera is the gopro 11!
great video!! may i know which focus setting you used? :) are you only using single point? also do you have any face detections on?
single point with face detect! i have a whole video on settings for the xm5!

what vlog video is used?
the pov camera?
@@herokme yes, pov camera
using the gopro 11!
Waiting for the film simulation you used in this video. 😅😅
haha coming soon!
Really Awesome shots! What film recipe you used and did you use aperture priority or manual? This what I always struggle with.
i used manual here! i rarely ever shoot aperture priority, but i think that’s just all preference. i used a custom film simulation too, ill probably do a full video on that soon

HAHA really appreciate that 🙏🏻 i’ll have that video posted soon!
Subbed
really appreciate that! 🙏🏻
Can you share the recipe from this shoot?
working on that video right now!
Is this camera weatherproof?
they don’t advertise it as weather sealed, hence my umbrella 😂
it is not :D dont try that without the umbrella
Still not pocketable.. display is not bright..also needs evf ..
it’s pocketable with the right lens for me. i haven’t had any issues with the display brightness, although i do wish it had an evf

Amasing!❤ How many films simulation does xm5 have? Does it have Acros?
it has 20! it does have acros!

@@herokme thank you a lot for your response! My last question - what lens (to go with xm5) would you recommend for shooting architecture?
i don’t personally own any lenses that wide for fuji, but you’d probably want an ultra wide. something around the 10-16mm range
