I'm really shy and anxious and some of the comments reminded me of my days in Middle School/High School, if i was with a group of people and if i started talking (that was rare) and being friendly some of them were like "she has a voice, she can speak!" it was so awkward for me, in 3rd or 4rd grade if kids saw me laughing they would start talking about it ugh not the best childhood memories haha

Josh is a very good guitarist and an amazing singer, so as John was. Rhcp is just a bit different than before, but it also became different when Hillel Slovak died and the band picked John. Now that josh is out of the chili peppers and giving a lot of interviews, we can see that he actually speaks very much and is not so shy. So I conclude that he didn’t speak a lot in the past because he understood that the band was not his band, he didn’t want to “take” the place of the other guys. SUCH a humble and respectful man.
