The dominance of Warholm and Sydney McLaughlin in 400m hurdles is insane. I'm not usually a big fan of the 400m hurdles, but it's very exciting to watch these two!!

@@MarkPivec I wouldn't say he isn't the favorite, Warhom has the third time so far (Benjamin is first, Santos second) but all three of them have a very real chance of winning (and I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them runs bellow 46 secs).
Always harder to lead out a race but Karsten did a great run and win.The 2 runners chasing got National Records in following Warholm's winning Slipstream to thank for 🙂👍

Final 2 hurdles could've been a little cleaner & yet still ran a 46.98 CR! Hope Warholm, Benjamin & Dos Santos stay healthy & bring their A game to Paris 🤞Well done to Sibilio (47.93 to 47.50) & Bengtstrom (48.49 to 47.94) on their huge PBs! While still in his prime, would love to see Warholm at least once in a Major Champs 4x4 Final - NOR could definitely put together a competitive Mixed 4x4 with Warholm, Ingvaldsen, Jaeger & Tomine Eriksen, would love to see it at next yr's Tokyo WC for example 🤞

Warholm and Sibilio deserve all credit for 1st and 2nd, but I was really impressed by what Bengtstrom in lane 9 did. Passed by Warholm shortly after the 2nd(!) hurdle. Didn't panic. Going over the 9th hurdle he was slightly behind one guy and even with 2 other guys. You have to get over the hurdles, but at that point the run for bronze had not much to do with technique. It was all about who can gut it out at the end. Although he knocked over the 10th hurdle (fortunately with his lead foot), Bengtstrom was the guy who did it.

He cleans up hurdle #9, he runs close to 44 at least 45.2.... He did a horrible job with hurdle #9, it allowed others to catch up to him because his clearance threw him off rhythm.
I agree. He's trying to get better off his left leg so he can shift from 13 to 14 strides before the two last hurdles, but it doesn't look great. Yet.

i think we could go back to men wearing baggy shorts as a man it's hard to look at some of these angles haha. Carl Bengstrom gets it! no other men want to see your tight spanex on your behind or front its hard not to notice when the cameraman is eye level with this stuff.
