DESCRIPTION
How does Slipknot sound on Acoustic Guitar? This video is my answer to this question. I first listened to “Before I Forget” many years ago, and I loved the song right away. Now, after quite some time, I heard it again and figured it`s time to arrange it for Fingerstyle guitar. My wife Meg and I had the idea of hanging some of Slipknot`s iconic masks in a black room and play in the middle of them. We bought them online at the last minute and we couldn`t get our hands on all of them, but we are still happy. There is no particular message regarding which mask we used and which we didn`t use…the masks all look cool, and this is what we managed to gather. @@matthew9.21 he played at a University and when I did thunderstruck live it was amazing. We did a whole workshop with him and he taught us some techniques in percussion on the guitar.

Having also seen him live in November of 2021 at school, I can also safely say he is the real deal.
Yeah I saw him play last year, supported by his wife Meg at The Wardrobe (a small venue in Leeds, UK). He is indeed the real deal, no backing tracks, no back up and no mistakes. He's flawless. I spoke to him after the show and he promised me he'd do another Ennio Morricone cover at some point, both him and his wife were lovely, really down-to-Earth people.
Dude. This is fucking nuts. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd listen to an *ACOUSTIC* cover of this song that sounds equally heavy and beautiful without even being metal. It's so dope!

Not many people realise how melodic metal music is, just because of the screaming and the distortion. But this goes to show, that it also has incredible writing

@@Call_me_Ishmael. Поглядел, спасибо за наводку. Но то что Листопад втроём с вокалом лабают - Лука в одно лицо без вокала (безусловный акцент на инструмент) - в итоге совершенно другое впечатление и ощущения. Переглядел и Луку ещё раз для освежения.

I believe what makes Luca so compelling is that he's not just "pure acrobatics". He really takes the time to put effort into the musicality of the arrangement, creating some of the most technical yet ear-pleasing music the acoustic guitar platform has to offer.

I saw Luca live last night in North Carolina. I knew the show was going to be amazing, but I wasn't prepared for how funny and engaging his performance was going to be.
