Hey Ladybug, if you like masterful, good music, have you heard of Home Free? They're an a capella group. You should check them out. I'm another old lady (just a couple years shy of my 7th decade) but damn, they're good. First time in my life I've ever been a fan girl. (Not even when the Beatles came over.) They sing everything. They're as good without instruments as Luca is with his guitar. God bless.

I was wondering myself why I haven't seen any cover of this song by any exceptionel guitarist yet - but finally one decided to do so. And it is just great. Not about a doodeling solo but the beat, the rhythm. Perfect!
Beat from 2:01 to 2:20 ends absolutely crazy. Wow.
It's even more fantastic to see such amazing techniques harmoniously inserted into a complete holistic arrangement

@@punishr36 Tommy Emmanuel you mean? Yes, I know he is also a brilliant guitar player, and I really like his arrangements too. Classical Gas in his arrangement is totally mind blowing. But I find his style to be a bit more conservative than Luca's.
@@alexeymoiseevskiy2619 Agreed as this style of Lucas in my opinion all started from Michael Hedges and has morphed into this incredible style. Tommy's finger picking is second to none along with his massive repertoire but these newer guys are in a league of their own. Cheers.

@@dillonzeh8959 Probably had a memory flash in his mind. Lord knows I did, My "Sharona" rubbing her body up against mine when I was 16 on a wild ride at the fair. Yeah, pretty vivid. Took me a long time to get over that one.

That's because the rest of your body knows if anything goes wrong during nut-scratching, that part doesn't want to be to blame.

It is extraordinary the sounds that come out of this. It is described, about Tommy Emmanuel, that he is a one man band, but, I think maybe, we have another person who creates an entire band with one instrument. Captivating.

I used Tommy Emmanuel, as, he is a legend, and I thought it was appropriate for my description, but, otherwise, I wanted to just focus on Luca’s music. Thank you for the other names, though. That was kind of you.

I used to have my guitar idol... and this has been Marcin Patrzałek. Well... Now I have two idols ; p and a collab of you two would be like making my dreams come true. This love for acoustic and percussive sounds... you both have it. All shredding on electric guitar is nth compared to this. All the best in 2023!

After watching the original from the knack and ramones versions I have to say that when Luca goes furioso between 2:18 - 02-20 and then kicks in with theme on the higher octace the song reaches an umatched intensity and all this without amplification and voice made by one man is outstanding.
Kudos to the mixing wich is cruicial at this peace.
I hope Yt recommend this song a lot when people searching for my sharona.

I went to your concert in Idaho 2 times and I gotta say he's amazing live and really entertaining. If you ever come back to Idaho I'll definitely go watch you again. I also took a picture with him and it was awesome

I think I remember reading that Luca did/does Jiu Jitsu. If so, imagine how crazily dexterous and creative he'd be. It's insane how he can partition his brain like that and play separate melodies and rhythm
