That takes strength to do the long reaches cleanly, a lot of strength, like rock climbing strength. I was in this guy's show in Ho Chi Minh city last night, all of the live songs sounded exactly like the recorded ones. Your music and skill are masterpieces, Sir.
I did? Oh i was still learning different songs, I'm learning sweet home alabama rn, trying to make less mistakes and play it cleaner. A true guitarist would be playing every song as clean as possible, I'm just trying my hardest to play the right notes :p
You know the things I like about this song is that he adopted the play style from his cover of "for a few dollars more and improved upon that, so luca's seemingly unreachable skill of guitar is still improving coz he keep adding more difficult stuff to his music
For some reason RUclips showed this to me three weeks late. That's three weeks without this cover I'll never get back. Which is sad because this is one of the top two covers Luca ever did. I'm speechless, this is amazing beyond words. Second only to Stairway to heaven.
Agreed on both issues. YT thinks they have a product worthy of paying money for. Yet I don't see subs come up unless it's chance or if I want to get notified when a new post comes out. With about .5K subs that isn't going to happen. I will go through the subs and hunt them down resulting in a temporary improvement in the Al Gore Rhythm. As for Luca: I already subscribed and I'm with you when they hold back. His named probably triggered Homeland Security when it was found in the same sentence as GOAT.🤣😁
Amazing!!! The later section with two guitars was such an impressive arrangement - bass, counter melody, melody, and rhythm, I could barely keep track of it myself!! All your stuff is always so great and you have great taste in music.
I knew this was shot in Arizona when I saw saguaro cacti in the background. Fun fact: Saguaro cacti start to flower around 35 years old and produce their first arm around 50 years of age, although some never grow arms. Arms are developed to increase the plant's reproductive capacity, as more apices lead to more flowers and fruit. Saguaro cacti that grow in their native habitat can take 50-100 years to grow arms. However, branching is unpredictable, as some saguaro can have over 25 arms. They even produce edible fruit.
There aren't many guitarists that can actually make you feel those slaps and knocks and strumming and everything to this extent. I know it's playback, yet the syncing is so perfect enhanced with the video shooting and editing (kudos to Meg) that it sucks you in. There's no escaping. A very powerful technique. Seeing a player master the guitar like this brings joy to people all over the world. Keep it up Luca.
Never seen anybody play with both hands like that before, except for Luca of course, definitely the King of guitar players, no question about it!! Bravo brother!!
There are Guitarists that play incredibly amazing, technically and musically. Then there are those who play impossible arrangements like Pictures Of an Exhibition on guitar. Then there is an empty unthinkable space. And beyond that all, there is a guy named Luca who just executes one incredibility after another, despite any laws of physics or anatomy which might have restricted him in performing. You are unbeleiveable awesome!
The fact that hardly anyone ever does a cover of this song... I could have sworn I was subbed to you before. No wonder I didn't see any notifs for this! Absolutely amazing!!
You have been blessed with this talent, and you nurtured it, the result is just out of this world. Nothing else to say, your talent speaks itself. Godlike.
I have just enjoyed many songs like this in your concert last night, that's sound fabulous and i'm still on cloud nine although the show ended wonderfully. Your music is one the biggest motivations that give me more positive energy to stop the intention to give up on playing fingerstyle guitar. ❤Love from Vietnam🇻🇳
Certaintly one of their absolute best, I actually love this sing, of the first sing I heard from them and it became one of my all time favorites if not my favorite, then I introduced a friendo of mine to muse and this was her favorite song also, you did a great job with your cover of this song, I loved it and enjoyed listening to this like you have no idea
Lighting tip for the DP/camera guy. Turn the subject with his back to the sun for strong rim light, use a large 8x bounce for fill and you get a classic western clint eastwood look. boom.
I'm actually happy and impressed even more that this isn't over produced. It's just great sound with all the character and skill heard from the strings and fingers (even the small bends and wavering notes)
One of my favourite Muse Song Ever (maybe “The top”, above all). As always, with this song (and video) you go “one step further” (and beyond). It’s totally brilliant: execution, filmmaking, setting, shooting. It’s really impressive, but also a pleasure to listen to. AMAZING. Grazie Luca perché ci regali sempre qualcosa che va un pezzo oltre il video precedente. Non ti fermare mai! Un abbraccione!
I was like... How's he going to do the best part!? And then... The second guitar appears. Owned it! Beautiful performance as always, and a favorite of many! ❤
One of my favorite songs that I never hear anywhere, done by my favorite cover artist on RUclips. I'm not sure I liked this vid as fast as I should have. My computer toot a couple extrta seconds to load all this goodness.
Unbelievable how thick a sound this man can make on a guitar.. With one hand. I'm always in awe of the composition more so than the technical playing, that's actually what puts luca above other finger style musicians, to me! Sweet child o mine is still my favourite
Honestly, Muse could have stopped after this song. Some might argue they SHOULD have stopped. This is their best song by a long shot. Thank you for this great cover!
Amazing cover. It’s perfect because as we know, a lot of Matt’s guitar work has much Spanish influence. (I know Luca is Italian!). So many musicians do fantastic MUSE covers. He could be my favorite. And yes, definitely not an underrated song. We go CRAZY when they play this live! Thanks for sharing.
Oooh! God! That was a thrill! I quit playing guitar many years ago, but videos like that wakes up the musician guy that sleeps deep inside my soul. OMG i wanna buy a guitar now. I want calluses on my fingers back. I want to feel the vibration, the drive, the rock again. Luka, please, keep doing your art. One day i'll fulfill my deam.
BTW this is of my favourite Muse song of all time. Love the rythm, love the riff, love it's history. Great piece of art from Matt and his father, who inspired him for the song!
Sick 🤘 Although I would never think of that as an "underrated" muse song! I'd say the most underrated Muse song is "city of delusion". What a frickin song that is!
that tune which was so underrated they opened up their two night weekend at Wembley Stadium with it; on the tour for an album from which it was also the lead single. bloody fantastic cover as always 🤩
Underrated? This was the song that sold me on the band. And your cover of it is wonderful! Great job!
I'd say it's still underrated as in not enough people listen to this song as there should
The underrated comment definitely triggered me here haha. It's by far one of their most distinctive songs
This was the first song by them that started putting me off. After this album I haven't looked anything they've put it until their latest.

Still trying to process how he's able to stretch his fingers that far and still make it sound so clean. You're crazy Luca.😭
It's because he sold is soul at the crossroads, or he practiced a crazy amount of time.
