Big respect on transparency, it’s a gross loophole on RUclips that people exploit. I think you’re the first person I’ve heard vocalize it, and you did it in such good way.
I’m grateful it came across this way. Although I wasn’t sponsored to share it to RUclips, I still feel like it’s important to address this transparently.

I really love how you have been sharing Sichuan food and recipes in this very accessible (and aesthetic!) style! Also really appreciate the brand disclaimers, I can’t wait for you to get huge!
nope, be careful with the heat cuz it burns pretty easily, and you will struggle with handling the dough into the pan. Lemme know how you did if you do try this though
@@Cheezey-ki4yt yeahh, it didn't go as well as I expected. I heated steel pan on a low burn, so nothing burned. But the dough was a tricky part because the big lump that I was holding picked up the little that sticked to the pan. Thank you so much! I've been looking for this because I can't find this wrapper anywhere. This is how the wrapper in the Philippines, too, and it's so hard to find.
Aww, I love your family's interpretation/take on Lunar New Year!!! I love the idea of celebrating the year's good produce ❤❤ It reminds me of Shavuot in my family's culture ❤❤
I love everything about this video! So transparent, calm and nice vibe, and also an amazing dish I would love to test out!🥰💕 What do you grease the pan with? And did you loosen the «paper» with a spantula before lifting it up or do you just have chefs hands like that??
I'm a loyal Lao Gab Ma spicy chili crisp kinda gal but those spring rolls look fire and I'm definitely going to try making some. My husband could put these away all day, I'm sure he's gonna love them.
That technique looks easy as long as I can get the right temperature on the pan and consistency of the dough. I will have to try sometime. Maybe expand it to other recipes and uses
congratulations. ive had this acc for almost 3 years now and today, for this video, for the first time ever... i pressed the share button and actually sent the link.

I think these look awesome wish Fly by Jing would make their Sichuan Gold oil more available i don't eat mushrooms so its the only one i can get been so into Changdu style lately
I love your videos! I've tried the schezuan chili crisp by this brand but it seemed it was too salty for me and I wasr a big fan of the preserved black beans. I'd like to try another product from them!
these are spring pancakes, not spring rolls. Traditionally, we eat spring rolls on Chinese new year and spring pancakes on li chun, meaning start of spring (Feb 4th, give or take a day). Fillings for spring pancakes usually have a mix of fresh and stir fried ingredients, and everyone assembles their own on the table as they eat it
Here's a simple and delicious basic vanilla cake recipe: Ingredients: * 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour * 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar * 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened * 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder * 1 teaspoon salt * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1 1/2 cups milk * 3 large eggs Instructions: * Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. * Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. * Cream butter and sugar: In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. * Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. * Alternate wet and dry ingredients: Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix on low speed until just combined. * Bake: Pour batter evenly into prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. * Cool: Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes before inverting onto wire racks to cool completely. Tips & Variations: * For a richer flavor: Use melted butter instead of softened. * For a lighter cake: Use cake flour instead of all-purpose flour. * Add flavor: Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder for chocolate cake, or 1 teaspoon of lemon zest for lemon cake. * Frosting: Frost with your favorite frosting! Some popular options include buttercream, cream cheese frosting, or ganache. Enjoy! Note: This is a basic recipe, and you can adjust it to your liking. Feel free to experiment with different flavors and ingredients.

It's 1 AM, I've never seen wrappers being made that way and I just randomly want to try these 😂
omg this is genius! i love this idea esp for when i don’t want to individually wrap a bunch of dumplings
That chili sauce looks so good.

Can we use rice flour? LOVE this recipe!!!
Rice flour won’t work well for this recipe, the gluten in flour allows you to form a thin film and pull the extra dough away.
Subscribed!
I just tried that sauce, super tasty but pretty spicy. Actually I think the sauce is different but same brand
That is how spring roll wrappers are traditionally made

Does it have to be wheat flour? Can you use something without gluten?
Like oat flour maybe?
With a starch if some kind?
I would've thought this would be way more esoteric!
Not only introducing such a nice dish, but also being respectful to other cultures by calling it "lunar new year". Instant subscribe ❤️
This is similar to how we make flat bread in oman 😂❤
So jealous she knows all these foods. My grandma and grandpa are from chengdu. I can barley make 10 dishes from sichuan province.
Does this work with gluten free? Just asking 😅 just a question
Yum its vegan too ❤
Holy smokes that’s how they make the lumpia wrappers!?!
They look amazing
But why are they called spring rolls if they use winter vegetables?
how did you do that with a steel pan!!!!
😍😍😍
💕🙌🏻👌🏻
Fresh peanuts?
You have to have alot of trust of your pan to try this
How hot is the pan?
The wrappers kind of look like a dosa crust
But still they are completely different
Indians back me up here❤🇮🇳🐅🇮🇳
Her mum probably thought it was close enough loool
Wait but the chili crisp doesn’t get to the ones in the middle if you put it on top like that

I don't understand how you can safely lift the cooked thin layer of crispy bread from the extremely hot pan with your bare hand!
I tried these this morning and the ball in my hand kept cooking but not sticking to the pan. Even with high heat =/
Are you using a non-stick pan by chance?
I understand people say “lunar new year” for inclusivity but Lunar new year occurs in June.
Oh hell yeah
