When I started treatment for ADHD at the end of 2019, it was to get out of alcoholism. That alone made it so worth it. On the next 24th I will be 43 years old and everything has changed in my life. Well I was listening to you tell your symptoms and it's amazing, just like me! But look, medication is important, but don't forget physical exercises and therapy. I didn't want to leave Ritalin, I still use it under medical supervision. And be patient, soon you'll be super fine doing everything you think of doing, you think you're brilliant, and you are, but ADHD got in the way.

so the update is i kinda forgot my meds existed and i haven’t taken them in a while😳 and i just take things day by day and try my best to manage idk i do drink coffee (not energy drinks) and i feel like adderall might not be for me bc i still have to really try to stay on task and often zone in on focusing on the wrong stuff (like drawing cats for 10 hrs straight this one time or gaming lmao) but i haven’t gotten around to seeing my psychiatrist again😭 sorry if that’s a disappointing answer but thank you so much for watching the video and if i ever have a productive update i’ll make a video on it!!!💞💞
i never upped my dosage on my own, he initially prescribed me with 6x 5mg tablets a day, but i never took more than 3x 5mg a day bc it was way too much for me
yes, especially at first before i knew how to deal with it. i just felt tired and didn’t want to move or do anything that required brainpower, but it was also similar to how it felt a lot of the time normally anyway without adderall? it just feels like a crash because i’d have such a productive day while on adderall (most of the time anyway) and get so much done, so when i can’t keep up the same pace the next day or the next after that i feel like sh*t and like a failure? also a lot of times i would’ve exhausted myself without realising after being on adderall bc i get more done than i would normally, and then next day i’d get mad at myself for feeling tired that i’m so “lazy”. so since then i’ve had to learn to not compare every day to the most productive day ever and that it’s fine if i get less done today than yesterday. hope that answers your question! :))

Your psychiatrist is fine with you upping your dose on your own? I have to meet with mine to get an increased dose. I'm on Concerta ER

What manufacturer is your generic Adderall? Ex. Sandoz, Teva, Lannette, Camber...... makes a huge difference because some are essentially water pills.

Did you experience any crashes from adderall? If so what did it feel like?
