great video. Loved the style. The 3ds is a really great console. I bought myself a Japanese new 2ds xl pokeball edition for 350 plus tax not that long ago. And I have been in love with the console. I’d suggest homebrewing it because it unlocks the consoles full potential

I have the new 3ds xl and I love it. The game selection for it is quite different from the switch, but the main selling point is still how compact it feels. I have a few monster hunter games, Pokémon games, and a few others, and I still love to use it :)
i got the OG 3ds cuz the 3ds family has more multimedia tools, as this was the phase with random things like a camera, sound recorder, and internet were added to handhelds, making them more usable as PDAs for no reason but i like it
I bought the 2ds xl used with 3d Mario for 80€. in a used good condition. unfortunately every time I close and open the display I have the imprint of the left stick and buttons in the shiny area next to the display. does anyone else have this?
handhelds don’t need to be powerful, they never needed to be as powerful as home consoles. heck, if your handheld sacrifices portability for power then you don’t even have a handheld you have a home console.

I went from DS Lite to the xbox consoles then for some reason right in 2017 I had a sudden urge to play DS again so i picked up the new 2ds xl. Now i would have to spend a couple hundred to get a 3ds xl in good condition. At least I went through the effort to jailbreak it which was surprisingly easy.
How is the durability of the 2ds xl? I mean, i saw a lot of people complaining about the material and how it cracked up and i wanted to know if it's like a glass cannon.
I love the 3DS so much as I love the new 3DS XL over the new 2DS XL as I love the super stable 3D and how comfortable is much more than the 2DS XL. The new 3DS XL will be the definitive 3DS as it has more upgrades than all 3DS systems like the auto brightness. As I love the 3DS, streetpass mii plaza will be my favorite to have as I wish the switch had it.

I get you. Got my 3ds in 2019~2020, almost a whole year before my Switch and I still play it A LOT.
I bought the handheld for 2 reasons.
The fact that can play both DS games and 3DS games
And the fwct that I can actually put it in my pocket lmao

yeah its normal you should probably buy the ds a screen protector so it doesn’t leave a permanent button mark on your display
Unfortunately, the design is not very well thought out, but I think that was the case with the first original 3DS too.
