The pokeball one is one of my favorite versions, Im getting a “New 3DS XL” for the first time, and the reason I chose the one I did is that I found it in Good condition, it works, and it was $50 USD
@@Jayynetic spent a while finding a good deal, I tried getting them off Ebay, Ebay Auction House, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Google Shopping.
@@Jayynetic Yeah, it was the same for me. Most of the other offerings were a lot more expensive and very often in a worse condition or just the console. I have to admit I would have preferred a Pikachu Edition, but in the same condition, it would have cost me three times as much. That's why I'm happy with what I got.
Finally a RUclipsr that appreciates this console! Everyone seems to hate on the New 2DS, but I absolutely love it. We have a 3DS XL (Year of Luigi), 2DS (Blue), 2 New 3DS XLs (Galaxy), New 3DS (Mario Black Edition), and a New 2DS XL (Blue/Black), and the 2DS XL is by far my favorite one to play on. It’s so comfortable and the feel of the plastic reminds me of growing up playing all my Gameboys. Thank you for your comments and appreciation on this stellar console!
Honestly can’t understand the hate on the 2DS. I think ergonomically, it’s the best console I’ve ever used. It’s the right size for my hands, I love the cartridge slot being hidden, and it’s a god damn pokeball!
I had a 2DS XL as a kid, but then sold it to get a Switch. I then got older, and a job, and I purchased a pre-modded New 3DS from Japan that I'm still waiting for. The 3DS is honestly my favorite console lineup. The idea of a folding thing that can slide in my pocket, ready for play whenever I am, is so nice compared to the bigger, more fragile nature of today's handhelds. I'm excited to revisit some 3DS games soon, and that Pokeball 2DS XL is stunning.
I bought mine when they first came out and I still have it to play all my pokemon games. I will never get rid of it. I also bought a case for it so it stays nice and safe when not in use.
It’s one of those gaming consoles that will forever be remembered. Imagine, 20 years from now playing your original copy of pokemon heartgold on the pokeball 3DS. No better feeling! A case is definitely a worthy investment
June of 2019 I bought 3 brand new systems. A 2DS XL Pokeball for $199, a Pikachu 2DS XL for $216 and a New 3DS XL Pikachu one for $213. I also purchased the first 7 Pokemon TCG Sets (complete) for about 1/5th of what they cost today AND all the Pokemon games. 8 months later? Covid. To the moon babyyyy
Let’s bloody go!!! Those are some insane deals! Really wish I got onto buying them sooner. Now I’m facing the repercussions of paying double, or sometimes triple, the price 😂😭
@@Jayynetic Worth every penny though. Every time I play with my Pokeball 2DS I clean it with a microfiber cloth and I'm SO gentle with it I want this thing to stay as minty as possible
According to seller it's like new cib I might just keep it as display with my other special editions. But I'm tempted t To keep as my main and homebrew it.
What an absolute steal! I think the price I paid at the time was good considering that many other listings were around $450-500 and they had cosmetic issues.
I've got another update My 2ds probably got hard bricked because a flashing red light appears near the camera while the battery light is still blue Also the system just does not want to turn on

In 2021 I bought the same 2DS for €179. It is in good condition and everything was included, even if the box shows minor signs of wear on the corners.

I got this for 75 usd when they still had it in stores. I still have it to this day and it still looks brand new 😁
