  • This video produced in 1982 documents protesters staging an anti-nuclear weapon demonstration at Lawrence Livermore Lab with civil disobedience to prevent employees from entering the lab. Lawrence Livermore Lab is a U.C. Berkeley research facility that develops nuclear weapons such as the atomic bomb during the end of World War 2 (as seen in the movie, "Oppenheimer"). This documentary examines the arms race between the U.S. and Russia at that time and M.A.D, (Mutually Assured Destruction). Featuring Daniel Ellsberg, Ron Dellums, Tom Hayden, Ralph Nader, and musicians, Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne.
