I live in Sonoma county, about 15 mins Healdsburg and 20 mins from Calistoga (napa county) we have several wine clubs in Sonoma and in Napa, but when it comes to tasting, we never go to new places because its was too expensive. Napa tastings are bonkers, most are $80+ for 3 wines. Sonoma seems to average about $45 plus. It woukd be cool to check out more locally wineries but the prices are just ridiculous.

Hey, just discovered your channel . Enjoyed it and subscribed. 1,200 bottle cellar here collector. Just my 2c on Napa....not longer buying from them. They went crazy with their pricing, not just buying the wine but tasting rooms, hotels, restaurants, etc. They went completely nuts. Next year I am planning a visit to St. Emilion and Pomerol and it will be much cheaper than a Napa trip. A good entry level Napa cab is now in the $150 or so and for HALF that I can get impressive wines from Bordeaux, Rioja, Mendoza, etc. I really hope all this glob of air finally bursts and Napa can become affordable.
