I have a1994 K1500 Blazer....since Jan 3, 1997. Has 154,000 on the ODO. These old TBI trucks are beyond reliable...loyal I guess? Had a no start issue for the first time last week. A $10 ignition switch solved that. U joints $8...wheel cylinder $8...half axles $50....so easy to keep these things alive. Glad to see your son is learning what an old school SUV is before they turned into "crossovers" with infotainment systems.
I have two myself, A '93 4x4 (the last K-5 model year) & a '98 RWD. Seems to me, only us owners understand how awesome these things are! That's fine with me, because I'm crazy for these things and don't really care if nobody gives me a proper offer for my '93 on offer-up...I LOVE MY CHEVY 2-DOORS!!!!
What a cool way to bond. Great video guys. Very inspiring. I work with Mike, the guy you bought this rig from and Ken,the guy he bought it from. Please keep us up-to-date on the build. Subbed
@@PureJoyFarms cool. I live in Seattle (born and raised) and I've made the drive crom Cleveland State U in Cleveland OH back home a few times. Cool vid.
Why would you convert the GMC Yukon to a Chevy Blazer??? The Yukons are way more rare in the marketplace. It’s like you’re choosing to devalue the work you do 🤷♂️!
Nice man 👍. I have a 92 GMC Yukon truck 2 door too, i love it a lot
What an absolutely amazingly clean and straight find. Congratulations, young man.

Hey, very cool! We haven’t started anything major yet as summer is busy on the farm, but we certainly will! 😁
I also got my 94 blazer from the west coast, I can't imagine driving any other vehicle
Beautiful truck! I have a 94 Blazer that I absolutely love. Did y’all ever figure out where why it was burning oil?
Rings or valve guides
@@arcademania7544Not changing the oil when it turns dark brown is the only thing that can destroy these engines.
Great truck! How many miles did it have when you bought it?
Around 212,000
hard to find those and when you do they are wicked expensive... how much was that beauty
Not wicked expensive, but the price was fair.
@@PureJoyFarmsPlease keep it a secret! Knowledge is POWER! Not!!!
what is the app you found the car in ?
The Facebook Marketplace app.
I run a diesel weight in my truck and sounds like u have a slight knock
Why no more videos on this?
We have been working on other farm projects this summer, but we will be starting to work on it this weekend. Stay tuned!
How many miles on the odometer?
213,840 after the drive back.
