This comment is for both side, That's how you play football. They played so beautiful it is hard to explain. Awesome players, Fans with superb stadium. I missed those days and 80's players.
That is so long ago, incredible, how time goes by (1991 !!). I can still remember to this match.

That classic German jumper with the green base and the red, yellow and black "squiggle" stripes.
Germany away shirt has always been HORRIBLE. Specially compared to their home counterparts which are a piece of art mostly. The home version of this one featured here is probably the best world cup shirt of all time so its a shame what they did for the away version.
The Wembley pitch looked amazing back then .

There are some TOP, TOP footballer's gracing the Wembley pitch. A "friendly" yes. But this is what you call BIG time football.
If U want to watch the real football, just watch it before WC 1994 , when football was pure football, but football nowadays is just about £/€/U$D & life styles like tattoos, models, wags and cars

Und das Auswärtstrikot wurde hier auch einmalig getragen, unter Sammlern heiß begehrt. 😁
@@javimarquez13 ⚽️ Hi Marc! 😊 Wusste gar nicht, daß dieses grüne Auswärtstrikot so selten war. In den 80ern wurde es von unserer Nationalmannschaft oft getragen! Denke z.B. an die WM 1986!

The England side in the early 90s was dreadful. Totally wooden passing, hardly any individual skill when Gascogne wasn’t there. Just no idea.

there is a marked difference between German players attitudes and English players attirudes. the English lack a couple of world class strikers that have superior skills that can make England win. Gary lineker is not the type of player that is a world striker.

а где Уодл,Барнс,Гаскойн????без них конечно Англия гораздо слабее.и даже в таком составе могла штук 5 наколотить.но ..немцы всегда были такой вшивой везучей командой.и в самых равных и важных матчах они иначе не могли выиграть.или судьи или тупое везение помогало.противно смотреть на их игру.Англичане молодцы.
