Add that on top of all the remaining players failing to ally and organize a full-force assault focused on Sam. The stars were alligned so perfectly in his favor he should consider quitting AoE2 and become a seer or something to give out predictions of the future. 11
Did anybody else notice how Greens attack on Reds base was basically useless? At first Yellow defended him for a time and then Green simply didn't accomplish anything after Yellow ran out of resources? Red literally sat in his corner and besides one time where he rode out with maybe 20 Hussars he literally did nothing and didn't fight at all. What a master.
This is 100% Sam of the bizzaro universe where he holds on to the Ring for a little longer and his imagined notion of the Shire encompassing the entire world becomes his firm ambition. Like, he becomes a bit of a sociopath and will use his 'friends' to further his goals, but they are kinda okay with that because all he wants is to nonviolently transform the planet into a pastoral utopia. He's doing it for himself, but even if it's not allied victory...idk you can't really hate him all that much XD
Did you take that from "The Return of the king" old cartoon from Rankin Bass? That point of his is rather strongly emphasized there with Mordor turning into green pastures. :) And it's always good to see a good underdog story.

AV is super fun, if it's late game and 2 people had to fight incredibly hard for it, one of them lost their base etc - and then together they come back. If it's just like here without any twists, then it's a bit boring, ye

Just resigned from a 3 hour 4v4. took out 1 enemy in 40 minutes, thena huge stalemate... Ally quit at 3 hours probably because like me we have to work lollolll So I quit then. I think it wuold have lasted hours longer. 1.6k kills and 1.7k deaths just for my cumans. Had to share, frustrated and amazed lol
If I were yellow I would have totally taken advantage of being allied with red just so I could move my king in the middle of the corner and then delete it. The magnificent scene of seeing 20 castles, a wonder, and 100 paladins get blown up would be worth giving up the allied victory.

Allied victory should be banned in all games? Either lock the teams from the start and make it impossible for them to turn on one another or ban allied victory all together. No one should be able to just form alliances in game and get the advantage of sharing in the win. Alliances like that are supposed to be temporary.

Ok here's a thought. They need to add some upgrades that are only available from the Wonder. All upgrades are free but take a while to complete. Maybe you can't get all of the upgrades so you have to pick the ones that would benefit the most. One for example would be group conversion on your monks which converts all units within 1 tile of the target. Another could be that all your units that die refund 25% of their cost. Perhaps another would be villager/eco focused so it increased the collection speed of villagers and doubled their health or something. I think that would be very epic to put something like that into the game to make wonders something even remotely practical.
After 40minutes of waiting for something amazing to happen like in all your videos it dreaded on me that purple would not attack rred to try and win, yellow would stay gullible, grey would be to slow to do the spectalur and mandatory suicide bombing and the rest would just be a 10mins long futile push. It was pretty cool to see a bunch of wonders being build simultaniously but nothing really happend with them. If only read build maybe purple would have fought but he should have anyway.
Purple was trying to be puppetmaster. He predicted red would be attacked and there wouldn’t be for everyone to attack purple. Problem is, everybody was aware of the situation, if only red had wonder they would’ve attacked, but its a loss no matter what, so why bother
