    Brilliant sir you really are my favourite watch channel cant believe you got it running so well I doubt it left the factory that good or any other movement they made Bravo!

    It probably runs better now than it did when new!! Good performance for a pin pallet movement. Great macro photography too. I always enjoy your presentation and look forward to the next video. Cheers!

    Got to love a BFG 866 (and amazed to see the yoke/yoke spring wasn't broken about 80% of the one's i've played with have been)

    Another winning video. I have worked on several of these BFG movements. Although fidley like described, they are good fun to work on. Thanks for the clarification on where to apply oil for the escapement.

      It really stands out doesn't it. Because it's also the click, and the part doesn't need a recess machined to accommodate it, overall it's a cheaper way to do it.

    I’ve used cat whiskers for the capillary probe. No felines were injured.

    A man at the pub told me a trainwheel bridge on a bfg866 is easier than resolving an argument with one's spouse while operating a motorcycle. I beg to differ. They appear to be bulletproof, and run reasonably accurate with a little attention. (I swear I'll never do another!)😅
