Lmao walleyes guys telling musky fisherman how to release fish 😂 If it would have been a walleye guy catching a musky he'd have fought it for 30 min used a tiny net and yank the bait out of its throat gtfo
The walleye toss didn’t bother me as much as the fact you didn’t put much effort into ensuring that Muskie survived her encounter with you. She was really struggling.. You could have worked her back and forth in the water for a longer period of time and you could have followed her a little and hung around a minute to make sure she didn’t resurface a few feet away and die.
The fish you caught sure looks like the same fish you and Robbie raised. It was blonde in color, same shape and missing right ventral fin. Did you cath it in the same area?
Sean Lowery having them out of the water has nothing to do with it, it’s the depth the come from and how fast, it doesn’t have time to regulate. By the time it gets out of the water it’s already done
8oz. torpedo sinker on the end of your marker buoy, dropped down the stomach on BASS works to get emvback downdeep, weight takes em down and just pop the string and get your sinker back, dunno bout muskie, line might get caught in the teeth?
I would imagine that the fish needed to be “fizzed”. We have it happen with fishing deep smallies where their bladder needs to be more less deflated. We use a long syringe with a needle and put it right in the mouth into their throat. No harm to the fish what so ever. I would imagine you could do the same with a Muskie but you would definitely take a risk of cutting the hell out of your fingers and hands. By sticking the needle in it let’s all the air out of the bladder. Cool vid guys. Muskies are a bucket list fish for sure.
Musky awesome. Walleye awesome. Catching big walleye while musky fishing is pretty amazing. Great vid awesome channel. Keep making vids like this y’all will have the best fishing show on RUclips
Yellow toothpaste? You can brush your teeth with it if you want. I dare ya! lol The big pond is amazing, just look at the girth on those 2 pigs! Great video.
You should take Matt from @SBFishingTV to the big pond and watch him mess his pants when one of those big girls follow like that. Forget yellow toothpaste... lol
@@TodaysAngler Doesn't mean you launch it back. Have some respect for the fishery! If that was your 3rd walleye on a handful of cast you could've made a nice video on how walleyes hit big baits but you took the direction of having more negative outlook on muskie fishing and anglers. So arrogant!
Peyton Kurtz the population is very healthy due to the walleye population but in the past 3 or so years it's on a slow decline but muskies are there some are small but there is state record potential in there I still haven't caught one from there though kind of upsetting
Peyton Kurtz certainly fishable but only a fraction of what was there 10 years ago. Between lack of stocking, delayed mortality, and harvest has taken its toll.
I'm also a muskie junky but don't forget what made mille lacs the fishery it is today the Walleye's man!!! The muskies and smallies really only been a draw the past couple decades. I've met you multiple times at the expo and always thought you were a classy guy but if your willing to show that on film I can just guess what happens off! So c'mon there topH2o be respectful to all the fish buddy
Yeah tossing a fish like that doesn't look too great but it's not going to hurt them. Barotrauma on the other hand is really bad. Poking, rubbing, or burping them in anyway to "get the air out" is fundamentally incorrect and will not save the fish. What will save fish is simply not targeting fish that are in 30 feet of water or more. Bass, walleye, musky, Pike, and panfish cannot handle the pressure change. Targeting deep fish is like using barb's on your hooks. You don't need them because you're going to play catch and release anyway... Save a life, save a world record. Target shallower fish and go barbless!
@@brianlarkman2484 true on the walleye, already touched on that in comments. But in reality no different than when a musky shakes out of our hands and we throw over side in order NOT to hurt them. I agee, was not professional.
Come on man. I know for a fact you’ve never in your life released a Muskie like you did that first big walleye.
I know Im pretty randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to watch new series online ?
@Dorian Judah Flixportal xD
@Everett Leonel thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !
@Dorian Judah you are welcome xD
My 5 year old son and I love your videos. Works of art.
You guys should consider putting the dates of filming in the description, just a thought.
Never caught an river bass; I have lots of respect on behalf of the bass membership,;
One of the best videos you guys have put out yet. Trolling on the famous Mille Lacs! Great way to catch them!
We use a venting tool to release fish that we catch from over 40 ft
Are you boys ready.... great videos
heading up this weekend for 4 days, gotta love Mille Lacs
I don't care how much you don't care for walleye but that was bs how u tossed a trophy fish back
Northern Exposure. Ya pretty sure it’ll be alright.
Yeah, that was a little excessive. My bad. (Lee)
Northern Exposure ...I kinda agree. That's unlike him to do that. People become fish specific snobs. Good call.
at least he let it go to be caught anougther day

You've gotta respect all fish!!!!!!!!
Last year there was a 60 incher found dead on this lake it was on the news. It would of been the state record.
Can you fizz musky like bass?? I know we have to do it when we catch them suspended in the winter??
Do you have any recommendations for a good musky guide in wisconsin
Robbie or Lee run guide trips.
Outstanding! Only have been broke off by those giants. Will be targeting them soon on my channel!
do you know of a great guide to fish musky on mille lacs
48 degree water, what time of year did you film this one?
Really?? Know how to release a walleye?
Or a Muskie...
@@auto_5 they said they followed it after but it would have been too long to put in video. It swam off fine. (From another comment)
Crazy video. The underwater boat side shots were wild. I'm bummed that I missed out on Mille Lacs' heyday.
Heyday? Is mille lacs not as Good? And if so how come?
Man I gotta catch a nice musky.. top of my to do list for this year for sure! Also that poop spray was great 😂
Do you guys do guided trips at all
Grant Masterson, yes
Try fishing the eagle river chain northern wi

We did do that, showing would have made vid too long. Appreciate your concern for them. (Lee)
Is the date on the graph correct? 2016?
You should invest in a venting tool
Would you ever consider coming to minocqua
Nice video. Seemed weird (but enjoyable nonetheless) to see a new video from you guys that wasn't filmed recently. No matter, enjoyable.
Was just some great footage from different outings put together.
You guys should try fishing whitebear lake there are some big muskies in there but they are super hard to catch.
Lee. = Sir Fish Alot.
All thats ultra sound sonar;

It is basically the fish equivalent of the bends just try to limit how long you have them out of the water

I've seen people poke bass that were caught deep with a needle. Letting air out of swim bladder.
What happened to the “Land of 1000 species” challenge videos? Did you guys give up?
Did you not see the videos
Peyton Kurtz um obviously I did watch the videos otherwise I wouldn’t be asking boy genius
In the video they said it would take place over one day and they ended that day with a musky
Phil Bengtson it was only a couple of videos, they said it didn't go as planned.
Phil Bengtson, we finished the video and it went decent...caught 14 species and had a blast. Was hoping for 20+ but we got stuck on dogfish.
That's a nice fish you guys caught, what happened to it's left eye though? Also the first one you raised was a giant :)
one of the hooks was in it
I like big ones and I cannot lie
I mean maybe she had a hard time because you tore her eye apart too
Next time I catch a giant musky by accident I’m gonna chuck it over the side of the boat like last weeks trash.
The Unicorn" Albino" Lunge"
Keep up the great work!
All the best,

The yellow submarine, she just wouldn’t bite.
Cool catchin some nice eyes on musky bait.
Another cool video guys, keep’um coming...
Awesome video
Just throw a giants eye
Lee, I gotta disagree with your release technique of Walter.
Agreed. Not my normal way. Was the 3rd one in a handful of casts.

Troll Line Fishing, yes it is. Check out this vid we did.

Todays Angler I have watched that one before! It excites me for my St.Clair trip hoping to get a big girl like that! Been a fan for awhile now!
Oh but there’s no walleye in Mille lacs... the skis are eating them lmao ...
Unsubscribing because of that walleye treatment.
I enjoyed watching your videos until I came across this one.. conservation and ethics just went out the window.
Does Mille lacs still have a good enough musky population out deep or have the fish died
