this for me is the best concert of Nightwish , and i was in wacken 2013 and for me it was the best concert i have seen live until today in my almost 55 years , but only i know what i would not give to be in this show in Buenos Aires, that crowd is insane, and we all know that nightwish feeds on the energy of the crowd the same way the crowd feeds on the energy of the band , BUENOS AIRES BRING IT ON 🤘🤘

This song is so pretty, just like Elvenpath, love the heavy melody with the fairytale-ish lyrics Min 2:40 that part with Marko and Floor together gives me goosebumps every time
I fully agree with you that BA is special, not only the setlist, but the sound is different, it’s feels more ‘natural live’ if that makes any sense. The band is amazing and Floor is on fire. IMHO BA (complete) is underrated and I feel we share that feeling. So many people are comparing to Wacken, or better hear it’s not Wacken, that they seem to miss some details that Wacken misses. Don’t get me wrong, Wacken was fantasic , but BA has something different magic.
The raw energy is palpable throughout this epic BA concert. To then think of the fact that Floor had barely recovered or was still recovering from a flu.. Imagine a fully charged Floor on stage there. What would've been the odds of the crowd surviving Floor at full blast? Perhaps the answer to that question will be given during the upcoming NW tour in South America.
I told you this is a good show, certainly the equal of Wacken and possibly better. Lots of older songs making an appearance on the Decafes tour. Did you notice the keyboard reference to Stargazers? They do make some odd decisions about TGSOE, but hey! You already know how humble Floor is offstage, but so is Tuomas - all of them in fact. Yes they fo the Rock star drinking and so on but they don't make a big dhow of themselves around town. Tuomas prefers wherever it's geographically possible to go off and visit wineries by himself...
If you accept that Floor is Floor and Tarja is Tarja then both versions of Nightwish are great, at least for me. Same with Anette. I stopped to compare them, makes no sense to me. But If I have to, I agree, I like the original version way more. It was so unique the way Tarja sang it. Floor is still great but not unique in this song. She did much better in other songs of the first era. (Think, I’ll be blamed for this one) Just watched the official live version with Tarja to compare - and guess what - not comparable, totally different.

Of course Tuomas is smiling. At last he has a vocalist able to convey his compositions in the way he has always imagined them to be.
