Houseboating, in thunderstorms, fishing and cooking Chili

- Couple of nights houseboating, getting caught in a few thunderstorms. Capt Dee catches some nice catfish, Pop cooks chili. Reconnecting the water lines, that were disconnected for the couple days of hard freeze. Making fresh water. Boondocking Cajun style, houseboating, off grid camping lake fausse point. Foggy weather boat ride. Enjoying life.
1lb ground beef
1 can tomatoes with green chives
2 can red kidney beans with chili gravy
2 can tomatoe sauce
chili powder to taste
1 med onion
Tony's Season, season to taste
MexCajun Chili, thats some good eating
Cajun cooking camp meals on the houseboat.

I guess I'm an old fuddy duddy but I would have been far more entertained watching you clean the fish you caught and eat them than to watch you cook something all of us get from the grocery store all the time. But that's just me. I'm not saying what you did was wrong and I'm not complaining in any way, I just prefer videos like "stalekracker official" where you eat what you catch. Thank you for your content.

Boy, that was some rain! I retired 2 yrs ago & thought I had it made until I watched your channel. I gotta drive 3 minutes to fish, you all wake up, walk outside & can fish. Nice!!!
It had gotten rough in the night, I thought hard about setting up the camera on time-lapse to catch all the lighten, but figured I was safer laying in bed 😆 🤣

Pops, what a great life you are experiencing. SO jealous. Capt Dee is so sweet and love your descriptions of whats happening. I'm stuck up here in crappy central New York. If you ever were willing to have a visitor to hang out with you and Dee for a couple days I would drive down in a flash. Name you per night fee. I will bring my own fishing pole and cook dinner if Dee shows me how to cook Cajun!
In the future, I don't know when, but I'm thinking about building another small houseboat, just for guests.
Dee is a really good cook.
