- Pops and Capt Dee back on the off-grid houseboat, boondocking in a few different places. Catching Da catfish and slow cruise around the lake on the houseboat. Having wind unexpectedly caught us and had to work our way across a small section of the lake.

That makes the perfect dish, then have the catfish fried without a batter. Greens smother down in a little Roux.

Dude you just got demoted from fisherman to fish cleaner! This all your own fault for bribing her to fish by taking her fish off, baiting her hook, and even cleaning her fish…haha Keep the knife sharp and in your hand, no time to put it down.
I'll clean them all day for her, she loves when the fishing is good.

Problem is them 40 lbs don’t taste near as good as the young ones!
You definitely right about that. There are a couple extra things to do while cleaning that helps the flavor of the large catfish
