    Thank you so much for sharing! I can’t wait to make this.
    Question: Are you using fresh lasagna sheets or boxed ones? Do you think this recipe would work with boxed ones if I boiled them first?
    Thank you!!!

      I would guess that the lasagne sheets were fresh ones, because they seemed to get soft enough very quickly! I reckon boxed ones would work, as long as they aren't too fully cooked before adding the stuffing. Please if you try recipe using boxed lasagne, let me know, I'm interested too

      @@mariono8722 I did try it with the boxed ones a few weeks ago, and unfortunately it didn’t work too well. The boxed noodles were too small and I found I couldn’t get enough cheese inside without it coming out the sides. I bought fresh lasagne sheets and they are much bigger so they will work much better I’m sure!
      So I wouldn’t recommend the boxed ones if you try to make it!

      @@kelseyrosa2101 Ah, thank you for sharing your experience, it will save me unnecessary expense & disappointment! I'm going to try making ravioli with the leftover fresh lasagne sheets. The fresh sheets freeze well.

    How long to do you leave the sheets in the water for? Can you also convert the gram measurements into cups and teaspoons please!!🥰

      Once they are nice and soft, in my instance it didn’t take more than a minute.
      250g of Ricotta cheese is about 1 cup

    So we don't have to boil ravioli?

    • @cooking_afresh
      @cooking_afresh  2 года назад +2

      Hi , no there will be no need to boil, because we have precooked the lasagna sheets(by soaking them in boiling water).
      The filling is then cooked by simmering the ravioli with the sauce 😃

    I have tried this but lasgna didn't stick at all

      Oh no sorry about that, next time try making a paste by mixing flour and water, then add it to the ends of your lasagna to make it stick

      We had the same problem. I will try the flour/water paste next time! Thank you for the tip!!!
