A dessert with few ingredients in 5 minutes! Eat gluten-free, sugar-free and flour-free and enjoy this amazing dessert!
A very easy and healthy oats cake (use chocolate with no added sugar if you can)
I love oats recipes very much and there are many of them on my channel. This chocolate and banana cake can be prepared sugar-free in just 10 minutes.
A simple and quick recipe for the whole family.
Ingredients:
120 g rolled oats (1 1/4 cups)
250 ml hot milk/plant milk (1 cup)
2 ripe bananas (200 g without peel)
2 eggs
pinch of salt
30 g cocoa(4 tbsp)
5 g baking powder (1 tsp)
decorate with nuts (optional)
baking pan 22 x 16 cm / 8.6 x 6.3 inches
bake 35-40 minutes at 180°C /360°F
100 g dark chocolate(with no added sugar) / 3.5 oz
50 ml plant milk (3.5 tbsp)

This is by far, the best chocolate dessert we've EVER eaten! It's like brownies, only better! Instead of choc. chips, I chopped up milk chocolate into chunks and covered the top. Some sunk into the batter, yum. My husband has a nut allergy, so no nuts. I've made this twice, and I'm going to the store for more oats and bananas so I can make it again. It's a deep dark chocolate flavor even with the milk choc chunks added, and SO delicious! The second time I made it, I added chocolate frosting! Unbelievably decadent! Our new favorite! Thank you for sharing!

I am going to try this but how much milk is needed when adding the chocolate mix to the oat mix. Do you think it needs a sweetener? I have l xylitol and Mong fruit sugar.

I did it. Moist, it needs some sweetener like raisins to get a little more sweetness. Even a 1/4 cup of them will do the trick. Easy and good tasting.

i think mind needed more time in the oven, but this has a lot of potential for future tries. i spread a little raspberry jam on the top instead of the chocolate and really liked it. i left a piece and also tried orange marmalade on that. the possibilities are endless - thanks for sharing

I'm Aussie, so naturally, I need to add coconut to this recipe. Might have to fiddle with the liquid volume a bit to accommodate the dedicated cc. But all good....oh and of course vanilla...lots of vanilla. Other spices that might suit the oats/choc flavour are cardamon or cinnamon.

Making it now. I used roasted almonds for mine. There are so many things you can do to make it your own like add instant coffee to the mix, or dried cranberries, or dates. My mind is spinning. Thinking of bringing this for Christmas dinner. Thanks again.
