Yes, I know there is data coming out of the alpha that points to Anduin returning to the light instead of embracing shadow, but I still like the idea and I wrote this script before that data came out.
This makes total sense, if it doesn't happen I'll be very shocked. What I want to see is Anduin give up his father's blade and use a shadow version of Light's Wrath as a Shadow priest, After destroying the Scarlet Crusade in the raid that is ;)
No pls. Its already turning into a bad fanfic with Friendship is Power Horde/Alliance BS and literal demons being redeemed and characters sucking up void juices that corrupt titans and dragon aspects being set up as saviors while having no side effects.
It'd be really cool to see a shadow paladin, it'd also be a perfect way for blizzard to introduce that class. That being said blizzard drops the ball all the time when it comes to things the community wants
@@RooksTavern hopefully, we do seem to be seeing an era of gaming where companies are actively communicating with its players. So maybe blizzard will wise up.
I still think Anduin isn't a paladin, but an armored priest. Druids don't use claw weapons or daggers, but the artifact weapon in legion allowed them to. Looks like a similar thing to me. He may not be exactly a priest, but he isn't a paladin either, he is something else.
I love this. I didnt know about the eclipse Paladins but that perfectly encapsulates what I hope they do with Anduin. Embrace shadow now but then embrace balance.
Are you saying you think he will become a Domination Paladin? That would certainly be an interesting twist. But given how much he struggled with his experience of being dominated, I can't see him turning around and using that on others.
@@RooksTavern He may be able to control it as he was able to break free of it. If he can control it he does not need to dominate anyone he can simply use its power when he needs it. Meaning the Demons of the maw are at his call as he is now the new Jailer. Would be an interesting twist indeed. But something tells me that role now falls to Sylvanas she may be the new jailer making things right releasing souls that do no belong and keeping those that do in the maw.
Blizzard has been establishing for a while now that shadow is not evil and light is not good. Good and bad exist in both. So embracing shadow is not the same as embracing evil. Light and shadow are two sides of the same coin.
No reason a priest can't become a paladin. Lady Liadrin was a priest before she became a Blood Knight (Paladin). Think there was another priestess that became a paladin. Part of the Paladin Order Hall storyline in Legion I think.

Maybe a new spec for whatever class Bliz has decided Anduin is?

You know the motto, it is canon if it makes money!!!

I'm still hopeful they will listen to feedback and at least let us run follower dungeons with our warband as the support npcs.

I think he'll be a Paladin of Eclipse from the Riftwalkers area.

there is void elf paladin now aswell
It would make perfect sense for a void elf paladin to use shadow.
It would be domination magic, not shadow. He was the literal vessel for the jailer.

@@grimspur Okay I can dig that.
thats a cool theory! im excited to see the andiun story continue for sure in tww =)
Voidknight - i mean, why not as a hero tree. but for a new class its to -notnew-
@@nataschajordan6053 I'd be happy with a hero tree too. That would be a good alternative to a full class.
This would ruin the story id much rather him reconnect with the light via arathi everyone loves evil....
boring.

This ideas so cool.... blizzard arent that clever though.
True enough we're getting data that he's returning to the light instead. One-sided writing as usual
Yeah I was a little saddened when I saw that data from the alpha.
No. Just no.
Why not? Do you prefer light Anduin?
