- Опубликовано: 26 фев 2024
- Pro chef Saúl Montiel from Cantina Rooftop and home cook Gina are swapping recipes and hitting the kitchen to make tacos. We provided Gina with all the ingredients necessary to make chef Saúl’s gourmet $396 quesadilla recipe, sending only $20 worth of your typical, store-bought stuff back the other way. Will Saúl elevate Gina's modest materials into a fancy feast? Can Gina keep up with the demands of Saúl’s recipe? Which taco looks better to you?

I'm going to keep requesting this. Get Saul and Frank to switch expensive ingredients!
Yesssssss
Please do this!
Chef Saul is such a chill kind of guy, I could listen to him talk about cooking for hours.
Gina makes such adorable noises when she's transferring things while cooking. lol
I agree, but $396 tacos is… insane
@@Sniperboy5551 TBF most of these videos count all the ingredients. Like they get a $100 bottle of wine for a recipe that only needs a cup - so really the wine cost is $33.
😮@@Sniperboy5551
@@Sniperboy5551 The whole point is for them to be ridiculously expensive vs ridiculously cheap
@@Sniperboy5551you didn't se the chicken Alfredo one didn't you
Price spoil
13$vs1425$
Love it. More cross-culture cuisine meals, please!
X2 !!!
I love cross-culture cuisine meals.
I like this new chef! She's knowledgeable but unafraid to say she doesn't know something, I find that quite humble 😊
And she’s adorable, that doesn’t hurt.
And she tastes as she goes!
@@Sniperboy5551Jesus loves you ❤️ please turn to him and repent before it's too late. The end times described in the Bible are already happening in the world.

She's absolutely annoying. Her voice is cringey and makes me think of nails on a chalkboard. To each their own.
Please bring Gina back! She has such cute and can-do personality 😊 I love the combo of her with Saul!
05:01 - "Gracias Korea"
Please do not eat the toothpicks
That’s like a tv ad 😭😭😭
Amé
meme worthy for sure
Me the first time I had Korean BBQ
Gina worked so hard, she deserved that shot! Cheers!
Saul and his spoon drop...LOL!
I would buy Saul Spoon Drop merch if Epicurious came out with it!!
As a Korean, I love to see the culture mash up because both cuisines have such flavor in their foods!
This is an adorable pairing omg
Saúl is always a legend here, Gina was awesome and made it look easy without any complaints - more Gina and Saúl please!
I'm a simple person. I see Saúl, I click.
i saw saul and got excited for this episode
That was so fun, Gina is a great addition and of course Chef Saul is phenomenal as always😁
More Gina please. She is absolutely adorable and talented!
Gina could be a voice actor for Disney, enjoyed the vid
Honestly for Gina to do something very elaborate she went above and beyond! And of course Saul’s chaotic energy and talent was really satisfying. I’ll love to see more of Saul and Gina in the future.
"you should come to my moms's house"...... TAKE THE HINT SAUL !!!!!!
Was thinking the same thing 😂🤣
Rizzed her up with his cooking alone 😏
You want him to do your mom
He is married with kids!!😅
Saúl and Gina are both so wholesome, we love you.
The best part of the video was how Chef Saul said yay it's Christmas
I see Saul, I click.
Me tooo😂❤
Absolutely!
I love that this was Chef Saul's first experience with kimchi! He is such a joy to watch.
Chef Saul is my favorite because he reminds me of my dad so much and is just as smart and funny as him like having exactly the same humor 😂 (I really miss my dad 😢)
Chef Saul is by far my favorite chef to watch.
Wouldn’t it be cool if pro chefs swapped ingredients
I love this segment of epicuriouos. It's like let's see what a pro chef can make and oh yeah, what else can a pro chef make? Lol
This was super fun!! I loved the cross-cultural swap. Gina and Saul are both wonderful!
As a Mexican living outside of mexico I’m so depressed tacos de canasta de barbacoa cost 396 dollars when in Mexico I could get that for like 60dollars at a fancy restaurant 😭😭💔 also I adore him so much
Rich white people need to make money off of exploiting the actual talent :/
I see Saul I click, but now every time I see Gina, I'll click too
They both have such cute personalities 🥰
I love Saúl ❤
So who do we blame for chef Saul not having his own cooking show yet?
I have updated the billboard to say “0 days have passed since last time Chef Saul dropped a spoon”
Chef Saul is kind'a becoming the "spoon bae" :x
So pleased to meet you Gina!
🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🤍🤎
I love love chef Saul ❤ he gives me Tio vibes
Love Gina personality on video. Also loves that she brought tacos with a korean twist instead of just basic mexican or texmex tacos ☺️
Omg I love Gina. Her voice is so soothing and she’s absolutely adorable!!
YES! Chef Saul is back!!!
I can't believe we haven't done one of these with tacos yet!
Saul not only professional and comical, but inspirational. Thank you!

Gina is a lot of fun! And she's confident with the recipes :D Nice to see a new chef
Both did a great job! Looked incredible... deserved that shot hahaha
Chef Saul can come make me tacos anytime. 🌮 🌶️
Chef Saul is such a cap trying not to hurt her feelings!! Those do not loook like tacos de canasta😅😅😅😅
As an ethnic Korean with an undying love of Méxican food... this is beyond epic ❤❤❤❤
Saul's doesn't look so bad price-wise, I feel like you could make 200 tacos.
Gina is adorable.
Yay top 105 comments. Love this series. Thanks for making this content.
Welcome Gina!
I've tried so hard with Kimchi. It's just far too funky for me.
I like Marmite, anchovy paste, fish sauce, Miso, yogurt, and every once in a blue moon, a little sauerkraut on a Reuben or a Hebrew National hot dog, but I just can't develop a taste for kimchi, and it seems to be going into everything these days.
It reminds me of Southern "Chow Chow," which I also don't like.
I can't figure out if I've tried the wrong kinds, or if it's one of those things my taste buds simply do not enjoy.
Saul the goat
Great segment.
Wow amazing
It’s Christmas! Oh Saul.
Oh what a great pair
Gina my gosh she is awesome and what more can I say about Chef Saul he is always my favorite! Great job!
I'm kind of curious as to Gina's recipe for her $20 tacos. Looks pretty simple and easy.
Chef Saul ❤❤❤❤❤
I really like how the comments have little inside jokes that u have to watch multiple episodes to understand, like emily being ketchup girl etc...
This is the most adorable woman I've ever seen in my life.
we need more Gina!
Chef SAUL! ❤🎉😊, ALREADY LOVE THE VID!
The new Chef Gina is amazing. She could also do voice acting 😍
Omg she is so so sweet 🥰
Love the new chef.. she was great and saul of course is the best..
que ricos taquitos compa
Awesome
Did she just Rick-Roll? Gonna lift you up
If anyone has a quick carnita or al pastor taco recipe, please let me know! I doubt I have the ingredients and spices in my pantry, but whatever you think is a staple then I will get it! I have never made tacos before but would love to try a recipe that's more on the simple and easy side 🤗
Sous vide reecirculators are pretty cheap now. You can just throw some bacon in hot water over night and squeeze some oj over the bacon tortillas. ✌
Gina is awesome!!!
Crazy how he's never had kimchi!
Saul 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Is Gina new? I like her!
Saúl Montiel is the greatest
I love Gina great addition
The 396$ taco ingredients tray worth 50$ lol
Why is his garlic $6.99 and hers is $0.59? $12 for an orange? $15 for cinnamon? Total BS on that $396 estimate.
Gracias Korea!
3 pepper corns... That's very specific and unnessesary 😂
Same thought lol 😂

Wait what 112$ for lamb shoulder did you get half a lamb with it wtf 😂🤣
