Its stated in the comics that merged sentry still loses his personality and the void takes over so merged sentry isnt his complete form. When sentry and the void both finally accept each other as equals then we'll probably see what his capable of.

Miss marvel, Carroll Danvers herself who is widely considered to be the strongest in marvel wasn't enough to stop blue marvel. So after sentry gets a running start from space he hits a weak Adam and you say that's good enough? Nah not likely.

In Silent War Sentey and Black stood face to face and refused to fight each other because of how much destruction they knew they would cause. Such a badass moment

Pretty weird this gets released today when I just finished watching all of comicstorians World War Hulk videos this afternoon. The Hulk vs Sentry fight was fantastic.
I think a cool moment was when he was paying the price for Dr. Strange’s magic and he’s “hmm tickles”
that one was great.
Exactly. Doctor strange literally became the god of magic but was only able to do so because sentry was taking on all the negative physical effects of the power for doctor strange and the funny thing is that it was barely even hurting sentry lol.

He had even more impressive showings like when Dr strange stated the return of the Sentry and Void could mean the end of the Marvel Universe, Or when he contained the power of a cosmic cube and easily defeated Beta ray Bill and had annihilus running for his life, He's also ripped a dimensional barrier open from the negative zone to the main Marvel universe and plenty of other showings.

The creators of Sentry didn't really know what they wanted him to be. Broken character
Especially when he fought Molecule Man and just gained molecular manipulation lol
Lazy King well that was the explanation for all of his powers. His molecular manipulation manifested itself in the form of the superpower archetypes.
If I could write him
I'd have him be what he originally was, the "good wolf bad wolf" battle, where sentry and the void are fighting for control of the body, where the more good Robert does, the stronger sentry becomes and vice versa.
Have the city view him as a monster and it gets to him, slowing him down affecting his psyche, that's where spidey comes in, being that light in the darkness for sentry, but when Peter goes away for awhile to.grieve and take care of his own business, Sentry relapses HARD, causing the void to come out and it takes Captain universe spidey to stop him.
Taking sentrys powers away and returning him to the civilian he was.

What's even worse is that Hulks brain is normally protected from mental attacks, most telepaths can't control him because it's too much rage and his mental barriers protect against it.
Not to mention sentry HIMSELF has the same barriers
When Emma frost wanted to go into his mind, she had to have HIS permission and that's only in his civilian form, even then void showed up and kicked her out
Not only that, but sentry once mind wiped EVERYONE of his existence with the help of mr fantastic creating a machine to send his telepathy out into the world.
Even amongst telepaths and the hulk himself, they were still affected.
Hulk is a weird case sense his mental barriers get stronger the angrier he gets

An issue? U may not agree but the sentry that was fighting world war hulk was nowhere NEAR his full potential. His mental state impacts his power as well, and sentry was loopy during that fight. The power sentry emits calms hulk down too. Its partly why hulk powers down after fighting sentry. Sentry himself only falls because During their fight, Hulk is telling him to choose his own path, and not be what others tell him to be.
If it weren't for that "pep talk", sentry couldve kept going. Hes also dropped the avengers(including thor) as the void by casting mental projections over them.
To my knowledge thor has immunity to telepathy but ill search it up

He’s not immortal he’s just some drunk named Ryan Reynolds that can change history and the way he is perceived. If he wants to become sentry all he has to do is think about it or write it down somewhere and it’ll happen. He’s a reality and history changer. The downside is is that he affects actual real heroes like Spider-Man and hulk by saying he gives them the fighting spirit they need to overcome their villains or just outright kills them when he gets mad. Also another bad thing is that when he re-writes history to make himself sentry another entity called the void comes in and the void is the “opposite of sentry” and just as powerful. It’d be best if Robert Reynolds didn’t use his power at all. It’s just too dangerous even though he wants to become the universe’s greatest hero

It was stated NUMEROUS times that he cannot die and that he just reforms when it appears he did. You gotta read more than just 1 or 2 stories dude.

Sentry hasn't discovered his molecule manipulation when he fought the world war hulk. This was before Bendis wrote him to a godlike character.

@bored He didn't "let" Bruce knock him out. Bruce knocked him out because he was the last man standing ie had more energy left. In fact in heart of the monster, it was stated world breaker hulk was holding back when he fought sentry, juggernaut, xmen, fantastic four and every one else. To quote "if he wanted to, he could have easily killed everyone" if anyone let themselves get knocked out it was Bruce when he transformed into world breaker AFTER knocking out sentry... which proved he had been holding back.

Sentry's molecule manipulation made sense when Bendis wrote him that way. His powers were always kind of.. tied to his belief in himself I guess? During WWHulk, I read it as Hulk talking Sentry down during that fight even as they wailed on each other. Like Sentry lost his will to fight and be out of control, then thanks Hulk for taking him down.

Meanwhile, in 'King in Black', The Sentry just gets torn in half like a bitch and never reforms.
For Knull its easy to kill him (even allblack can kill sentry this sword give a shit on immortality this blade holds a portion of Knulls Power, the Odinsword can kill Sentry to (the Allblack & Odinsword are the same (but odinsword its little bit stronger)
And a Few Superpowers here exist to that can kill Sentry
It was a Continuity Error on Cates' part. Sentry was supposed to be Merged and on the other end of the universe. Cates did little to no research on Sentry

The crux of what I think they saying is sentry and void are constantly at war for control over Roberts body.
Void coming out during siege wasn't a perfect merger, as if it was, it wouldve been the black and red sentry, nah that was VOID taking the steering wheel and pushing sentry and Robert in the back seat.
Also, when sentry fought Thor the 2nd time, that was death seed sentry, when he had no void in him, all the death seed did was give him a clear head and as u can see it made him DUMMY powerful lol
complete merge sentry is just broken.......in recent issue he beat the shit out of richard rider nova and also clapped beta ray bill......then punched a hole into annihilus dimension and wrecked havoc there.......even anihillus agreed to work with the heroes cause sentry was just too much

I've always enjoyed Sentry, his "good wolf bad wolf" mentality and duality interests me.
That struggle to do good despite being feared by others is interesting.
I want him NON-NERFED in the mcu.
Him and spidey could be 2 sides of the same coin.
Both are regarded as monsters and somewhat feared/hated.
But while sentry let's it wear away at his mind, spidey rises above it, I could see them coming to blows and spidey having to be the 1 to beat him in the mcu, but not his normal form.... but as Captain UNIVERSE.

Well if Sentry (the Void part) is essentially the Biblical Angel of Death, it would make sense that the Sentry is (potentially) the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe. He's basically Marvel's Spectre.

Recommend doing a History of Hawkman and Alternate Versions of Hawkman but his past lives. Like so Arris and the variant team can see.
I think a Sentey vs Hyperion storyline would be amazing. Both have beyond omega level feats. Null tore Sentry in half recently but Null is on a different level. I’d put his up there with the celestials or beyonders. Still you can’t just kill Sentry. You have to erase him somehow. Hyperion has held universes apart I believe. Not sure how he did that as he is merely a suped up eternal. I’ve always liked The Sentry because he seems innocent and well intentioned for the most part. Just mentally unstable and that makes him terrifying.

My favourite Marvel superhero why I love Sentry is his tragic story, complex dual personality, and incredible power make him a truly fascinating and intriguing superhero. With his ability to transform into a powerful, heroic Sentry with the ability to help save the day, and his twisted, malicious Void persona eager to sow chaos and destruction, a dynamic tension exists within Sentry himself, leading to a complicated and compelling narrative. Sentry's dual powers, moral struggles, and epic feats make him a character that fans of the Marvel universe can't help but love and appreciate.
I hope we gonna see Sentry in new MCU phase. He really need to be there.

What's so great about Sentry?!?..Marvel writers only created him cuz they got tired of being pressured by marvel fanboys to create a character that can beat superman..Yet they are the same fans that said DC characters are Op and boring..Marvel created Sentry and gave him every power imaginable..He will never have a good story nor be in a challenging situation that makes him reach deep down and overcome obstacles.

Theres also the times when the void broke all the bones in hulks body, tore a hole in space with his bare hand, incinerated one of the mini angled ones which is a being that was able to kill lady death who is an abstract being (sentry accomplish this when he was merged with the void), theres also the time when sentry fought gladiator, beta ray bill, captain marvel, nova etc all at the same time to the point where even silver surfer who was standing on the side lines stated that even if he joined the fight it wouldnt make a difference so instead of fighting him they got Robert to get his head straight so he could stop fighting them.

My favorite Sentry moment is in the Hercules series. Sentry confronts Hercules, who provokes him further (of course). Sentry says something along the lines of "Do you want me to unleash the power of 10,000,000 suns?" And Hercules says, "No, but I will." Then kicks Sentry in the balls. Sentry ends up doubling over and seems to be in genuine pain. Makes me wonder what that exchange says about how powerful Hercules is. Or maybe the pain of getting your nuts crushed transcends Sentry's invulnerability

You know someone's OP when most of the time he's only using 50% of his powers and lessens it even further because he's trying to control it. Imagine the newly fused Sentry and Void.
Not even 50% it's much lower his mental illnesses get in the way of his true power
never really heard of this guy but the void aspect of him makes his character interesting

They push these guys like Sentry, Gladiator, Blue Marvel, and Hyperion. Yet, if they want a Marvel Superman they need to sustain the writing push. All these guys storylines either fizzle out or they get jobbed out like Juggernaut and Galactus.
Sentry and blue marvel are nothing like Superman besides the idea that they fly and have super strength. The rest of their powers and how they utilize their powers are completely different, add in the fact that they act nothing like him as well
@@jordanscott4543 Still can't deny they aren't cut from the same cloth as Superman. There's a reason why people call them superman clones, and unfortunately they'll never be bigger or tooken seriously just for that reason. The same for Captain Marvel (Shazam) which DC proved in court he was a Superman clone and MMH who has Superman powers and damn near the same orgin. They can barely last 10 issues before talks of their books getting canceled *ahem* Captain Marvel.
Jordan Scott they are like him with Super Strength and Super Speed and Invulnerablity and Flight but not entirely but I would put it like this that they are similar to Superman with the some powers they have like him and the way they fight too. But Gladiator and Hyperion and King Hyperion are more like Superman with almost every power they have and fighting style too.

Gladiator and Hyperion are harder to defend against "Superman Clone" accusations but Sentry and Blue Marvel are nothing like Superman other than Super Strength, Speed, and Durability which are common powers among all "flying brick" type characters. Superman doesn't have a patent on exceptional "basic" powers.

So the New Merged Sentry had the most powerful moment people overlook. He ripped his old sidekick into pieces like it was nothing. His sidekick had acquired the powers of the original Sentry. So the new Sentry makes the old sentry look like an ant.
