Nice unboxing video. I’m almost done with my build. I’m painting up the body. If your doing the Flux build, the instructions are a mess with mistakes, typos, etc… If you’ve worked on a Baja it’s not too big deal, just a little confusing.
Gotta admit, I REALLY want one of these...been interested since Matt (of SBG) & KPop RC received theirs pre-release. Earlier today, they even uploaded their separate takes on the gas vs electric 'debate'...and, it's that very question that I'm internally debating. Obviously, electric has several advantages over gas, but gas has one huge advantage over electric - runtime. Input?
Yeah definitely good points all around. I had gas back in the day and my problem was how loud they were and people always giving me the dirty eye. Had always thought about doing an electric conversion but never got around to it. So this checks all the boxes for me.
@@fogcityrc4874 I know...and completely understand...what you mean. Until recently, I was Bay Area person, myself (born & raised). Before Richie moved away, we would occasionally meet up at the CSM parking lot to run our stuff. There is NO way I could have run a gas vehicle there, or the sand near HMB, or the BMX track at Calabasas Park. The noise would have people calling police within minutes of starting the engine. Plus, the overall builds cost is probably higher with a gas RC. However, as of a couple weeks ago, I'm not living in Las Vegas...and, there's PLENTY space for running gas vehicles. There's an outdoor off-road track in the southeast section (near Henderson) where nitro racers practice. There's a huge (albeit, fenced off...not that is stops people) area approx 4 blocks in size a few blocks from where I live. Plus, there's thousands of square miles of desert. I'm other words, there's no shortage of space...but, there's still the higher-cost factor (tho, gas here is MUCH cheaper than it is in the BA).
Great pick up John👍 Looking forward to seeing the build.
Thanks so much. Super stoked on this!
Got mine coming Tuesday👍😎

@@fogcityrc4874 I'm not though my wife tells me I need to be. I'm not quite up to speed on all the platforms.
Did you end up building it? I looked for the videos of the build, didn't find any.
I did. But we recently moved so I have been lacking on content
