Two big personalities in a row for this podcast. From Miss Jones to Lil’ Mo. Nore is winning big. I love listening to people like Lil’ Mo who are really about the music. Some people might not understand, but for her to create vocal melodies on the spot for a musical track that didn’t originally have those melodies in it, is pure talent. Realistically, that should count for production credit. There can be grey areas when it comes to credit, but I’m sure her publishing for the lyrics was good. Technically, producers and writers are both “writers” anyway. But Lil’ Mo was sounding good even when she was on here singing examples of her studio work. She’s a real musician fa sho.

There was definitely a moment in this interview where Nore was absolutely judging Lil Mo for her openness about drug abuse. I can tell he thought he had her like Lamar Odom and she peeped. Once you in the booth with Whitney Houston it's over with. Give Mo MORE flowers. If a person very familiar with drugs and alcohol are open, they are well aware of what they are saying even while drinking.

I think she wasn’t marketed wrong per se I just think the songs they gave her weren’t strong enough to compete with her peers. Keyshia Cole who didn’t have as good as a voice as Mo, but had the similar image broke through cause she was making ANTHEMS.
